The very video that kickstarted my Disney World journey, how nostalgic....... I still have the video to this day and I always fondly look back on it, I can't think how my life would've been different without my home away from home if my family and I didn't get this vacation planner.
Me too!!! My very first trip to Disney World was in early 2000. I am not kidding when I say that I watched this video every day for two months prior to my trip. It was the best!!! GOD bless!!! 🙏❤️🙏
The year 2000 was a special year for me because I graduated from High School that year Not only did I graduate but I went to WDW & did our first Disney Cruise
I…I don’t believe it. I found it. After all these years, I found it!!! I use to have a VHS tape of this I use to watch every day! At 4 years old, I dreamed of going to Disney World and experience everything I saw on that tape! My parents took me to Disney World, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios, and we stayed in one of the themed hotels where we went swimming in one of the outdoor pools! Still waiting on that cruise ship trip haha. But oh man. I’ve missed watching this. After I lost it from one of the many moves I’ve had throughout my life, I was afraid I’d never see this again. But I found it!!! My childhood! My dream in vhs tape (now digital) form!!!
The boy in 16:46 is so funny. It’s also funny when his dad gasps when he says that this t rex pops out at you. I used to rewind that part all the time, and honestly I do sometimes watch this video to fast forward to that part and see it

This VHS tape is my childhood!!! We went in the year 2000. I’m trying to convince my family to go this year. I keep quoting this video by saying we will be able to say “we went to disney in the year 2020!!”
Hard to believe all the different direction they went, so many different things opening and so many different things closing. Almost a different theme park. It's kinda sad because I miss the old park
@@interactiveWDW all the parks have changed quite a bit you added quite a bit to Fantasyland in mk, Epcot has and is changing quite a bit. You have dino ride is gone and they took out innoventions. They are even changing futureland. They took out the illuminations fireworks. They are adding a ton to it. Hollywood studios they took out the animation area and it's great movie ride and the Osborne lights. They are adding a Mickey ride and already added you story land and star wars and already added the gondola. Animal kingdom added avatar land and took out Minnie camp now the rumor is they are taking out dinorama. And I won't even go into the downtown Disney/ Disney springs but it might have changed more than the parks themselves. I'm going in January so I definitely don't think it's all bad but I'm a person that resists change and the place I love the most has done so much of it
@@michaelharbuck2057 I'm open to change, but the bulk of the changes seem to be made in a way that I would consider substandard to what is expected of imagineering/Disney.

It is known to have happened (often) where ones ordered/received early in the year are different than ones ordered near the end. With it being a large celebration for Disney, I would not doubt that there were multiple different versions throughout the year or two (1999, 2000).
DisneyQuest, why did they have to get rid of it? I liked some of their video games, especially the Wreck it Ralph video games, can't find them anywhere else, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND THEM?
I am amazed at how much property Disney has acquired. It looks so contrived and way to mind controlling. Why travel the world when you can take it all in at a Disney resort? Is this Disney's idea of the world of the future?

I was in the magic Kingdom on December 31st 1999 as then clock struck midnight! It was unbelievable!

I was there July 5, 2000 when they were tearing it down. It was so odd as a 9 year old seeing a huge building with a giant dark hole in it.
I remember watching this many times as a kid. That's how I was able to learn about Disney world. The good old days.
I grew up 2 hours from WDW and I’d still watch these VHS tapes they sent to my house on a daily basis

Which park? Hollywood Studios? I guess you could even say that about Epcot now too. Sadly, the parks change and not always for the better.
