I'm so proud of you!! I'm a recent graduate of Full Sail University here in Winter Park/Orlando, Fl., with a Bachelors in Internet Marketing from the 3 Year degree program. A week later I began my Masters and graduated AGAIN LOL a year later from the New Media Journalism Degree Program. Life has been NON-Stop for me!! I was working in the entertainment industry the entire time while in school, and graduating boosted my career even more!!! But I'm SO PROUD and EXCITED for you!!! I'm so happy for you Jayla. A year or a couple months off before school is a great idea. You'll have time to relax and recenter. Graduate school is great for on-the-go/busy-bee personalities. Depending on where you go & the field you choose, a graduate degree can elevate you. In all of it you'll find that your experience as a black woman is one of the most powerful & valuable things.
I've been thinking about buying your book for a while now... and seeing you complete all this on your own, I'm all for it now. Can't wait to read it girl!
