- Matt is joined by some of the Maritimes finest musicians on stage at the 1990 Maritime Music Awards to perform the Marshall Tucker Tune that most Cape Bretoner's have adopted as their Anthem. MultiCam footage. This ranks up there as one of my favorite versions of this song I've ever seen performed (all it would have needed to push it over the top would be if Enver Sampson Jr. could have been there to play harp! - RIP)

met a girl in 1988 from Homeville NS, she had a Minglewood cassette, never heard of him as im from S Ontario. anyways we played that tape till it was eaten by my deck...wasn't until last year when I finally got to see him live at the Port Morien Legion...he was awesome and a true professional ,I chatted with him about my wife of 27 years and he listened intently...thank you Matt!!

Sadly, harp player Enver Sampson Jr. (one of the best these old ears ever heard) was gone by this time having been taken from us too soon in 1985.
I couldn't agree more.... Was lucky enough to hear him live for years, but never had a video camera back then... IMHO one of the best ever
