MY EXPERIENCE OF MISS NEPAL 2018

  • We always see winners sharing their experience, how their life changes over night after winning but we rarely get to hear the experience of girls who loose and how hard it becomes for them to overcome the situation. It takes quite a time for them to accept the reality and move on with life.
Lets us come forward and hear them. It takes a lot of courage to speak up in the public. Lets us not say “Harey pachi ta testo bhani halchan ni” thats the worst line to hear. I support Samridhi Rai and I wish other girls with similar experience feels encouraged to speak up about unfair practices that they have witnessed.

This is what a empowered, fearless, courageous woman looks like. Thank you for sharing your side of story. This needs to be heard.
Your story had me on tears. Wondered what you must have felt at that moment. It is so hard to accept failure when you give your blood, sweat and tears to achieve something so dearly. I just watched the journey of Miss Nepal 2018 and honestly, you deserved to win one of those titles righfully.
We girls don't need to be crowned by a group of businessmen to prove our worth. It is utterly disgustful and pathetic that THT labels Miss Nepal as a show for empowering women. How on earth judging someone by their height, weight, body features and rejecting them if they don't meet the criteria is "empowerment"? Shame on the hypocrisy.
I recently watched this show ' Aau na ma sanga khaauna" and seriously was disgusted to hear our so called empowered former Miss Nepal's opinions. They were invalidating Samridhi Rai's truth who was harshly told that she was removed from the list just because they didn't like her. Subeksha Khadka even commented that Sambridi is blabbering because she holds a grudge for not winning any title .And recently again she was accused of spreading hate and negativity and not even a single Miss Nepal come in support of her. How are they empowered women, changemakers, influencers, social activists when they cannot support their own sister being the victim of unfairness shown by their organization? Their have unmasked their own hypocrisy.
Lastly, if you are reading this Shikshya didi, I just want to let you know that you have earned a genuine follower for being authentically REAL. Thank you for being YOU. You deserve the UNIVERSE. Just can't resist myself from loving you. God have more exciting plans for you. May God bless you forever.❤

@@shikshyasangroula95 Love you too didi. That fraud business organization doesn't deserve genuine person like you. Let them search stars, they aren't potent to identify a MOON like you. There is a thing called karma and I am sure your good deeds and this genuine personality will take you to heights. Just have a faith, believe in yourself and see the magic that follows.

I think Hidden Treasure had big fear that Sikshya Sangroula gonna take title of Miss Nepal World. But they have always planned to declare winner to Shrinkhala Khatiwada to gain political power. Sikshya being great competitor to Shrinkhala, they didnt place her in even top 14. MN is totally business. Young and talented girls are made a means to earn through various sponsors.
Had always been dreaming to participate in MN but not now from sure.
Now I remember days after Shrinkhala won yeti dherai interview haru uha ko jun aru miss nepal ko pala ma kaile aayena. Shrinkhala is talent definitely but politics has great role to gain popularity which she has gained. Talent le garda nai media le attention deko ho vane anuskha was also equally talented and both of them had gain same position. Everything is power and politics in Nepal. #staystrongsikshyadidi

Thank you so much shikshya d for bringing this up.No doubt you're such a strong and empowered girl❣️
And yes please DO NOT take these beauty peagents seriously!
    I have a similar experience back to 2075 (i was 17yo then)which i would like to share.
I don't know how to start, yet I'll try to make it short as i can. Though i didn't entered there to win the title but i had that gut feeling that I'll explore smthg great in me. I didn't win that title but i won the hearts. I still remember that night how our dd (former title winner) came to hug me and said we'll always remember u and few days later gathering huda when the sir who trained us asked me if i was ok with the decision where he mentioned that he was expecting me too. I am saying this not because i think that i was the only one deserving. We were 27 and the actual competition was 'among few' jun prastai dekhintyo but the result was not fair (which everyone there knew) . But i feel so lucky that it couldn't affect me much. Infact it made me more stronger. It was a journey that ended with meaningful lessons for me.
There might be a fair peagent contests where it is shiny both 'out and inside' but still I'd like to say please do not take them seriously neither let 'that single thing' affect your perfection or put a question mark to your worth.
    Always stay strong💛
    Stay positive🤗

I liked the way you expressed your story and journey from childhood ,your aims and all those hard grindings during the journey, your sufferings. I'm so sorry to hear that you had to go through unfair judgement, you had to be a victim of someone's favourism. I'd watched MN 2018 from the audition round to the finale, and I'd noticed two girls from the beginning. One was you and the other was shrinkhala. Despite giving 100%to MN journey, few gentlemen couldn't find a gem 💎 and they somehow chased you. But never mind, "sometimes the wrong train takes us to the right destinations". You're a model and who knows an international modelling career is waiting for you. There are like many Nepalese models working in many countries in the world. The world is a small place for those who never lose hope. Who knows a big movie project could be waiting for you or anything big opportunity is awaiting to hit on you. Someone's simple judgment isn't a tool to measure our beauty. We are born beautiful the way we are and we can be known to the people through our other works too. 🙂

Those who win are given most limelight and those who didn’t win but are equally talented are depressed, lost self-esteem and what not. From experience I can say, girls, if you don’t have influential/rich family it’s hart to win. Additionally, you need to have great relationships with organisers as well.

I think in part we, the audience, are also equally responsible. We(many not all) idolize those winners and worship them as god. Yaha actual social activist le kehi katai bolna paudaina, beauty queen 2-4 ota video banayera "social worker" bandai 100 ota bhasan gardai hidxan. Pandemic ma doctor ko interviews aaudaina, hero heroine miss nepals le k bhaney sunxau. Yeti hadh samma ki just on the basis of beauty pageants and interviews, prime minister samma banauney bhandau ufrinxau. I see many faults in the audience as well. We give the hype and we are angry of that hype? Lets listen to intellectual experts of each field rather than following these beauty queen manipulator who talk about changing the world but cannot even speak up of any injustice to themselves or others.

I agree to what you have said in the first few sentences about audience just being supportive to beauty queens more than social workers who are relentlessly focusing on bringing bigger changes. But I oppose to what you have said later “beauty pageants winner bhayesi PM nai banchu bhanne”
I believe everyone has the right to say so. And there are many miss nepals who have been genuinely working and advocating for different social causes. Ishani, Malvika, Shrinkhala and many others have been working their level best to contribute to their society. You cannot expect everything to be done by them. With the time limit and resources they have been giving their best. ❤️lets not spread hate against anyone.

Lots of love ❤️.. Stay strong dear ma'am... I was about to fill up the form for the beauty peagant then I thought of looking after yours experience regarding it.. N now that I have realized,I'm in no need to go to such beauty contest where talents are not appreciated well n indeed we all are beautiful just the way we are as u said so we are in no need to be judged.. . What's important is to accept ourselves as we are,n as the principles of universe says,'The ones who faces failures are the ones who succeeds later'.. So don't give up hope..The almighty lord will bless u with more than u had ever asked for at appropriate times.. Till then keep working hard n stay safe.. N most importantly keep on shining.. 🎊💙💫N frankly speaking.. U were really so sweet n polite during the entire session that I cudn't keep my eyes off you.. 🥺🤗N ended up watching till the end ❤️

This video had my head moving everywhere. I really followed MN til date and believed it was a platform for young girls but I was so wrong. I remember all the young talented contestants Srijana Regmi, Nishma Chaudharu, Samridhi Rai, you and so many other smart ladies. I now get the point that, it actually is a business. I now understand and am realising why all the fellow MissNepals come from rich families only. Because everything is set before the show begins. What a perfect way to fool the audience 👏🏿. THT Please stop playing with life of young dreamers who come up with so much enthusiasm, passion and a motive to change thier life and nation. You guys are not changing life of young girls but the rich ones by making them famous. For so long we’ve been fooled man. Like shittttttt
Shikshya Dee thanks for making this video. The things are more clearcut now.

Listening to you at 19:06 ( i dont know what in this video further just i paused there to write my experience will continue after writing) i felt you sikshya di.I also one day aspire to participate in Miss Nepal. I have participated in quite a few beauty contest and by gods grace have won in some and have secured 1st 2nd runner up in some. What i actually wanna say is back in 2016 when i was participating in a beauty contest i also got sick on the day of my finale and in addition to that i fainted just before the show started, with my make up on when i came to be conscious i found myself in a hospital bed with one of my friend she had come with me to the hospital inspite that we both were competing against she helped me throughout, of course there were my parents too who had come a long way to support me. I felt so bad i wanted to cry but couldn't i thought all these days of training hardwork dedication everything went in vain but that after getting some injection and sline i anyhoww pushed myself to the stage and performed Shristi Shrestha was there to judge us along with aryan sigdel and many more with a injection band on my hand i still gave my 100% and secured the position of 2nd runner up My friend who was at hospital with me got 1 st runner up position i was more than happy more her and me too..we did it in the end. ANU IF YOU EVER SEE THIS COMMENT THIS IS FOR YOU.I LOVE YOU..❤️ and also more power to you. SUBSCRIBING YOUR CHANNEL RIGHT NOW and also requesting all the viewers to do so..Much live Sikshya Shangraula🤗
okay i watched the video little further Alisha Adhikari the name that you have mentioned, we have participated together in a contest in jhapa. She also is a good human.
