Just a heads up to anyone interested in doing this blanket. The multiples are 3 if you’re wanting to make it bigger. Another tip is that because the yarn is bulky and if you’re using a chenille/velvet yarn other than Bernat I would suggest dropping the chain one at the beginning of each row as that leaves a very loopy and prominent bump. Just crochet the single crochet in the first stitch the number of stitches remains the same but you have a much straighter edge
Thank you for the heads up
Thank you! My tension was a little too tight and my blanket was working up only 32 inches wide, so I had to start over. I think I’m going to try chaining 99 to start this time, since her 75 only made hers 40 inches wide and that seems a little small.
I can’t figure out if it’s skip two or one as the pdf says one and video says two. Can you help clarify
@@Pnutbutajelitymethe skip one is only in the beginning and end of each row. It’s skip two as you are always doing the 3 sc in the middle stitch of the previous 3 dc on the tow before. Follow the tutorial otherwise you’ll get out of whack with the pattern
Thanks
I love the patterns for blankets using bulky yarn and easy pattern that looks difficult when finished. Keep them coming!
I think this may be the only tutorial video on how to crochet that actually sinks in for me, I can’t wait to try this out for the first time
I really like this pattern too! I knit but crochet, I think, is faster so I’m going to try it. My crochet hook arrived yesterday, I have yarn and I’m ready to get started on Christmas presents! Who said you can’t teach an old dog (72) new tricks?! I’m learning so much from CZcams. Your designs are wonderful. I guarantee I’ll know how to do a HDC when I finish the previous pattern! Thanks for the work you put into the tutorials. They’re very clear!
I'm definitely going to do this one. I'm making a blanket for my son at the moment. I'm going to make a small one for my cat to put at the top of his tree. Your videos has gotten me back into crochet and brings back memories of my grandma and great grandma teaching me how to crochet.
Beautiful blanket and have used many crochet stitches and created alot of blankets, but for me I am in the process of using up yarn I have and even scraptastic patterns!
Wow!! This is beautiful! Thank you so much for posting this!
You're very welcome!
This is a really beautiful blanket pattern. I did your last blanket pattern and I'm definitely going to do this one as well. Thank you for such a great tutorial!
This is beautiful and your instructions were great! I love blanket patterns!!
That pattern is so simple that it’s hard for me to believe that it made such a beautiful blanket. Thank you for sharing it.
The joining of a new strand of yarn is my favorite way of doing it as well!! It does NOT come undone! No matter how hard you pull! I love the looks of this blanket, I think I’ll give it a try. Great video! New subscriber here!
The blanket is beautiful. I haven’t crocheted in a long time, but your video has inspired me to pick up my crochet needle.
Your blanket turned out so pretty. Thank you very much for the tutorial.
I just found your channel. You are the first person I've seen make their slip knot the way I was taught. I love these blankets. I'll be making them soon. Thank you.

I am so glad I found your channel. I love the way you demonstrate projects!
Yay! 🥰
Your video was easy to follow! I especially like learning how to join skeins of yarn. I increased the length of this and used five skeins of the Bernat Blanket Yarn. Love this pattern. Super easy but looks so nice. Great for a beginner. It did take me at least 14 hours.
What size of needle is needed for this projectlplease
I' really enjoyed this !! It is fun, easy and uncomplicated !!!! Thank You !!!!
Good directions ,very clear . Thank you
Love the look of this blanket pattern. Definitely going to make it.
This is beautiful!!! I could never understand how to join the yarns together until i saw your video😂😂. Thanks ! This is so easy. I made a blanket by using the hands and fingers only. Eehhhh , well , it came out,but uneven in spots. Heavy too. Thank you thank you thank you for this video❤
Thank you for showing a new way to join yarns! 😍

I made the Movie Night blanket for a friend and she loved it. I will definitely make this one.
This turned out so pretty & I love single crochets!
Wwoooowww kedó preciosa!!! Felicidades!!
Thank you for the free pattern and tutorial. ❤
You’re welcome 😊
Absolutely lovely, thanks for sharing.
My pleasure 😊
Very pretty.
I love blanket patterns with the Bernat Blanket yarn ❤
She said at the beginning 40” x 56”
40 is width? That’s not very wide…
niceeee 🤍👌 very nice blanket love it! thanks
Hi l just subscribed. More easy blankets and throws. This is beautiful! Thank you!
Looks like a beautiful blanket. A request would be that the white yarn against a white background - is hard to really see the stitch pattern.
Been crochet for years , didn't know how to join new ball of wool like that , cool thxs
Thank you for making a video that is so easy to follow. I've watched several that left me frustrated because they were so difficult to follow due to the instructions provided in combination of not being able to see exactly where the stitch point should be.
Çok harika bir model olmuş harikasınız ellerinize sağlık
That’s lovely ❤
I love this blanket. I just came across your tutorial and I subscribed to your channel.
Awesome! Thank you!😊
This is beautiful! Thanks!
Love your channel....thank you...
Beautiful
Fun easy blanket. I will definitely keep in my go to patterns for bulky #5+ yarns. Multiples of "3" work to make the blanket in the video bigger or smaller. FYI, the 1st row of her pattern on the blog does not match the video. If you are looking for her finished measurements, she gives them as 40 x 56 in the video & on her blog. Her gauge was 7st & 5 rows = 4x4. Hope this helps someone.
Thanks so much!
May I ask how many rolls of yarn to finish this project?
Thank you very much
@@levietenorio73264 skeins 🙂
Edit: apologies on my response being late but hopefully someone else can use the info too
Thank you for mentioning this as she doesn't believe anything is wrong with the written pattern for Row 1 to compare to her video. I am glad I am not the only one noticed this:)
Luv it… thank you!
This blanket looks so nice and it seems like it’s so easy but we will see. I have tried blankets before and it just doesn’t seem to look like the one that I’m watching thank you.
So pretty
Thank you!
Thank You fast and easy
I love this blanket very easy and beautiful can you add colors to this blanket?

I'll be making this for someone!!
How many chains should I do if I want to make a 50x60 blanket? I’m so confused on determining the chain adjustment for different sizes
Thank you for your video. You made it look so easy. Can’t wait to try it!
You are so welcome!💕
I love this blanket! The instructions are so easy to follow. I was wondering what the pattern is actually called? ☺️
Thank you for another awesome and easy blanket tutorial! I just finished your Movie Night Throw pattern and it turned out perfect. It's soooo warm, quick to make, and quite big for a 'small' throw. Lol! I love it. And I can't wait to make this blanket now. Thanks again! 😁
You're very welcome! Yes, it's big but so cozy! I love mine. I can't wait for you to make this one :)
I’m going to do this🙏
I want to make a crochet blanket for my BFFL❤
Love it tyvm.
You are so welcome💕
Love ❤️
Whether i crochet or knit, I do not use knots in the main part of the project. My method is to leave the end and start of a ball of wool at the edge of my work. Once project is completed I knot and hide ends in the work itself. No bulky bits and works well on projects with edging as part of the pattern eg throw rugs and tassles
Thanks!
❤️Thank You❤️
I’m always looking fore simple patterns to use.
Hello friend. I am ur new subscriber.
Really nice work 👏
Great!
Hiii❤.
I'm on your profile for the first time and I already subscribed to you .🎉 I wanted to make a blanket for Christmas as a treat, I've been looking for a comprehensible guide for a long time... and here it is!🥰 So I just have one question...if I make the blanket exactly according to your instructions, will it be the same size as in the opening photo where you are snuggled up under it?😍♥️
Love the blanket pattern and can’t wait to try it! Still working on another blanket pattern of yours before I can start another. Do you think adding fringe to this pattern would look ok?
Absolutely! I just don't think fringes would hold well with chenille type of yarn, but any other material should work fine.
How does this material wash? I have found the polyester yarns to wash better than others but haven’t tried this ones
Beautiful!!!! Is the yarn soft?
I bought your pdf pattern. May I ask how many rolls of yarn did you use to finish this project. So I can buy it in one go at Joann’s? Thank you in advance. 😊
lt easy ty
What a beautiful blanket, my niece asked me to crochet a king size blanket, please tell me how much of the bulky yarn I would need & how many stitches across, I'm not very good at figuring size & amounts needed, thank you so much, have a blessed day ❤
Hi there! So the different sizes can be found in my paid pattern :) the free one is just this size. The link to the PDF pattern is in the description of this video ☺️
❤Beautiful
Thank you! 😊
