I Prefer the Old Version OF De_Nuke . Because it's good for camouflage since the colors are Darker . But Nuke 2.0 Has So Many Colors That Are So Clear And Similar To White . Actually YOU CAN SEE A FLY FROM 100 YARDS AWAY . You Can't Just Run That Easy Or Hide That Easy In Nuke 2.0 . I Personally Prefer The OLD Nuke For The Gameplay . But Nuke 2.0 Has Better Design Than The Old One And Better Visuals .

The new nuke does look cooler and more realistic, but the old nuke was just better overall and doesn't make you feel like your playing on a toaster.

+Gonkiho Fanušik The fact that the old nuke was SO ct sided mad the map so fun. It was something special. A comeback from 4-11 on T side was nothing special, it was a total different way of thinking. Now it's become yet annother boring fair map.
It took away all the elements of skill and special movement and is way too flashy. They took a 15 year old map that had a high skill ceiling and made it super bright and annoying map with a very low skill ceiling.

The new Nuke is too colourful. Hurts my eyes. The old Nuke was much more relaxing on the eyes.
I'd so much appreciate the old nuke. I had perfect fps on that map now the new nuke I get about 20-25 fps.

I've played since October 2014 and i barely remember ever playing on old Nuke, despite having the "Nuke Veteran" achievement all the way back in June 2015. Crazy how i've just completely forgotten about it.

I just love everything about the old nuke...
It was so chaotic, with vents leading directly into B-site. I feel like playing on it relied so much more on instinct...and luck to aim at the right spot at the right time :D
Of course this is bad for competitive play but I remember having the most fun playing on Nuke, back in the day.
Also the skill jump up to Silo, I remember that during summer holiday, I practiced this jump hours on end and was so proud when I consistantly got it on my own. It was such a flex in that times DMG matchmaking servers. I think, I just miss those times in general...

The old map was litteraly 3 years of my live, 3 to 4 games per night with the same 4 guys on the same map. Start silver 2 and grind like a maniac to MGE on one fcking map. With the update, I’ve lost my map, my game and my mates…

I haven't been able to test this map yet, but from what I see, it looks fairly promising. I can see that some skill jumps have been changed or removed, but I don't really mind. It seems that they tried to lower the number of angles that have to be checked by T's before entering the site. I only really liked nuke for its runboost and bhop fun. Now I hope I can like it for it's balanced gameplay :)

It is really balanced in terms of previous CT advantages, however it has created some new challenges to tackle..... like the new toxic or having two peaking positions CT's can abuse in secret.

+luckySkillFaker ! I just played a competetive on NUKE 2.0 and i found that you can plant the BOMB under the RED edge of the B Bombsite, the light won't show through it from above so it might be usefull or nice for a video :D gl trying it out

nuke 2.0 looks more like a map for like a call of duty, personally I think the old nuke was suited more for cs, tho I think they still should've made higher res textures for it on an update
though for a nuclear plant I feel like some of the colors were a bit _too_ dull. but I don't think they needed to make every color extremely bright and colorful

+Inki Blackman You can drop from silo onto the fence bit and run up to the red crate and on top there are 3 small boxes. you need to crouch quickly and then you can jump across onto garage. its easy
yep that will be in the top 10 jumps for nuke video :) there are about 3 ways to do it^^

The new nuke is shit. Remember all the KZ that took skill on the old map? Now you don't even have to crouch to get onto silo, all the jumps from heaven have gone and the map itself looks messy.

T's have been given numerous advantages: Silo to heaven catwalk, lower yard to heaven ladder and jump, a site ladder to upper ledges, new access to b site. Not to mention the rebalanced vents and upper ledge to promote pushing on both bombsites. It's actually pretty even now.
Also silo no longer requires a boost or strafe jump to access.

i literally won 1 match by being friendly with the hacker that was on the enemy team, he started team killing and kicking people until he got banned and i got a close win thanks to it
so yeah basically its a really hard map if the opponent isnt like.. handicapp or something

I think this isn't a good update. The new nuke is way too crowded with colours and aesthetic features that make spotting enemies so much harder. Plus so many complain that they can't run the map efficiently on their PCs. I wouldn't mind so much about the update if Valve left old nuke in the game- why take it out entirely?

I dislike both old nuke and new nuke. I played long after the nuke revamp, and I disliked it. I saw comments on CZcams saying that old nuke was so much better, so I went to the workshop, and downloaded old nuke. I played with my friends, and I didn't like it either.
