- I guess noone has missed that the new inferno is out with the new public beta released today! The map looks simply amazing and I cant wait to play it competetive and watch the pros play it!
I wanted to do a side by side comparison to better show you all the changes to the map! I hope you all enjoy this video!

New inferno uses banana concept from 1.6 which is a great one and banana from old version of cs go inferno was extremely easy for ct to control, it was one of the reasons for valve to update this map because ct was far superior over t side. And now it is not, they fixed this by remaking some areas such as banana

My overall impression is that it got broader and brighter with less objects and niche that prevents Terrorists from locating ct. This change would make it easier for T to check less spots.
But I miss the old one and where is the damn boiler!

playing inferno now a days makes me miss the old inferno, had so many better spots and it just feels like the made certain areas much wider, same with dust 2
The thing is that while old inferno was extremely CT-sided that meant that when terrorist got an opening and eventually planted the bomb they had the advantage of winning the round so my point is yes- it was shitty map with a lot of spots to check but now it is so open that you can't even hide if someone peaks and starts shooting at banana baaically 0 defense. Rip old inferno never gonna forget the first time i got global elite on my main years ago..

4th of march 2021 and I just miss this gem of a map. Current inferno is great but it doesn't feel the same. Watching this video was such a comfort.
i love this map so much, can't wait to play it competitively
They cut down a lot of the troll-y hiding spots. Just for that, I approve. (Plus it's all colorful and stuff. So yeah, I like it.)
The new colour palette makes me want to vomit. It's distracting depressing, oversaturated, and all over the place. No continuity or rhythm to it. This isn't a cartoon shooter.

@@sulphurous2656 Not entirely, but thats definitely what they were shooting for. CS:GO at launch was the last "realistic" CS game, but after the updates they wanted to embrace the cartoony nature of the game a bit more. Just take a look at the character models launch vs. now, the hair is a BIG sign that they don't care about realistic graphics anymore and are embracing the bright, vibrant feel.
@@DannyFreddy Bright, vibrant feel is actually one of the last ways in which I would describe the game right now considering it doesn't have much contrast in the visuals anymore, and leaves that to the weapon textures and the player models because some people will inevitably have issues with visibility at some point.
I suppose it does make sense transferring from photorealism into the low surface detail, oil-painting style to have a low-contrast background with high-contrast foreground objects, i.e player models.
Im gonna miss my AWESOOME hiding spot.. :(

yeah like the vibrant color makes it look cartoonish and they removed a lot of details with stone etc
+PrettyFly4Wifi which means better visibility and I'd rather look at a brighter map for hundreds of hours than a washed out grey one

I preferred the aesthetic of the old one, but the gameplay was definitely improved with the new one.

New Inferno looks so much worse compared to the old Inferno. It's a pattern with these remakes. The same flat teal and yellow lighting, massive clutter and over detailing, and a general disregard for colour composition.

One of the reasons i've quit CSGO and never played it ever again, plus the new sounds.
when the new sounds came out i thought they are bad. But after going and listening to the old sounds, the only sound that was better before is the awp every other sound i much better now. I may be overlooking other sounds.

I really like Inferno. It is my favourite map. However, I do wonder if I would have liked it in this version. Same thing goes for Nuke.

A Counter Strike Player actually i own only PS1 and i haven't used it for five yeas so you cannot call me console gamer(stupid even say so if you don't know me). when 60 fps game runs smoothly and thats enough for most games. in csgo i have 100-120 fps i don't notice any difference

If you right-click CSGO inside steam and choose properties, then select the newest beta and you'll be able to play it!

Старая Инферно была более мрачная и душевная по атмосфере. Все карты из CS:S которые перешли в CS:GO чуть в измененном виде в 2012 такие живые и атмосферные, не то, что сейчас

Old Inferno was basically CS Source Inferno with an update texture details and such element, especially in Banana and some other spot. But still better than New Inferno to me

For one, the old inferno was better optimized. I somehow agree with those room part and its hiding spot for CT but that's the only area they need to revamp by removing the hiding spot and but everything apart in the old inferno especially the Banana and the other are better. New one is mostly crap lol. That grey depressing is what make it better and what define the atmosphere of the old inferno was..
