  • HUGE CONCERNS about Clark (CRK) airport:
    1. Transportation options: Clark Airport is located outside Angeles City, and while transportation options exist, they might not be as plentiful or frequent as larger airports. Travelers might worry about finding reliable taxis, shuttles, or public transportation to their destination, especially late at night or during busy periods.
If you wnat to go to Manila, it might cost about another $150 or so to find a private driver, or hop in a bus for a few dollars (less than $8)
    2. Immigration and customs queues: Depending on the time of day and arrival of several flights at once, queues at immigration and customs are typically easy. It's a comfortable airport and much better htan most SE Asia immigration lines that I've been in (38 countries down, 100s to go).
    3. Local safety and security: While Angeles City is generally considered safe, some travelers might have concerns about navigating unfamiliar areas, scams, or petty theft, especially if unfamiliar with the Philippines. But, it's not violent and as long as you budget an extra $2 for the taxi you're going to be fine. Deal with it if you're a new traveler and embrace the suck.
    5. Language barrier: There's none. This is not Thailand, Vietnam, or Indonesia, it's easy to communicate with almost everyone. Especially in Angeles City, Clark, and the general area of pampanga.
By being informed and prepared, you can minimize your worries and ensure a smooth and enjoyable arrival at Clark Airport!
