Perfect and thanks Ryonet. But since I am a beginner, I don't want to mess up with a screen coater and I don't even have one. So I simply and simply use my flat and smooth edged school plastic or acrylic perspex ruler cut to different sizes and off I do the job and simply wash my flat piece. But well well well one day I will try and use the scoop coater, but for now I use my flat scoop ruler. But do you know something? I DON'T MESS UP AT ALL!

Hey Ryonet! I like your tutorials a-lot. You inspired me and now I have started doing screen printing at home.
When i saw the title of this video... i said oh i got a solution ☺️ to my problem but sadly it wasn’t in your list☹️.
    1. When i coat the emulsion onto the screen, it forms some dots over the coated area or it’s like unfilled areas on the screen whereas i try my best to coat evenly.
    2. My emulsion becomes so runny when mix the diazo in it. I keep the ratio 1:10 is it right ? Or do I decrease this ratio?

    Constructive Comment:
All the videos that Ryonet produces are great... but. Here is another video where the host makes a generalized statement like... "Use a lot of pressure" or other videos that say something like... " You should use a fair amount of pressure". I write this because a lot of pressure" or "a fair amount of pressure" for a 6 foot 6 inch 350 pound person might be different to a 5 foot 98 pound person.
If a Ryonet host would say "One should use about 10-15 pounds of pressure", no matter the size or how strong a person is, the Plastisol, Water Based Ink, Emulsion or what ever else will always be applied perfectly.
The amount of pressure needed will be something I will be asking if I do not here it from the instructor of a future Ryonet Screen Printing Class that I will be taking in the near future. See you guys at the ISS Long Beach 2019.

Important. Do you recommend Emulsion Film, or simply what can you say about emulsion film?

  • @cropcutsscreenprinting4377

That's the fact, the best place to do that process( coating and drying screen) is in the Kitchen 😂😂

You might want to mention that you should only coat your screens under a safe light or in a dark room. Emulsion is sensitive to white and uv light.
