I am seeing a lot of comments about the audio balance in this episode, just wanted to apologize about that!
The issue is EliGE's gameplay and voice audio tracks were not recorded separately during this session so there wasn't too much I could do during certain moments where the gun sounds were overpowering.

I mean the solution to that is adding subtitles to hard-to-understand parts, that would've helped a lot and nobody would've complained

If you can't make it out whatever you try (listening on max volume f.a.), cut it out or don't subtitle it.
Just subtitle the rest of the hard-to-understand parts.

This is a really cool way to do interviews with pros. Playing their game with them while asking questions. Really fun to watch.

@@silkthread7248 sorry about that, the problem was that EliGE's gameplay audio and voice audio were recorded on the same track. We'll make sure to iron that out in future episodes 👍
He’s a very thoughtful and articulate player. A lot of interviews with pros and even more specifically NA pros they struggle to answer questions that are just a more intuitive understanding for them but you can tell Elige has a great attention to detail
Elige was a valedictorian and is a perfectionist to the point that it actually affected him. His intelligence is well noted throughout his career.

I think these kinds of interviews are extremely forward thinking, this content is great and I would love to see more of it. My only suggestion would to be either lowering the volume of the in game audio so the guest and Dimitri can be heard louder and clearer. Otherwise this is great stuff!

I am pulling for Elige to win the major. I've said before that liquid has made changes before to everyone on that roster except him and they still havent been consistent, so the last straw would be elige, even though I think its deeper than that. Good luck to NA at the major.

Great interview but maybe balance the audio out a bit more? The gameplay is great but the gunshots are wayyyyy louder than Dimitri and Elige.

While I don't doubt that NA MM is a lot more broken in terms of cheaters, the EU MM experience is still beyond fucked form a GE standpoint seen. Might be different in lower brackets, but for us, a lobby of several 20+ year CS veterans, all global without any downranks aside from inactivity inbetween, 100% certain good trust, the game sometimes is just unplayable. Up to 8/10 games with absolute bullshit cheaters is the normal here.
One of the big problems about this, aside the lack of fucks that valve gives about ANY of this, is actually IMO the community and it's ignorance towards it. Loads of people will just claim that it's low TF (which is simply not possible) as they have allegedly never met a cheater in years. This leads to the public thought that everything is not only fine but AC wise working as intended, while OW and stuff are just not working at all but rather being abused.
We have literal lists full of players that were at some point rage hacking, spinbotting etc., some with thousands of dollars in inventory value, including FROM TWO+ YEARS AGO, which have not been banned to this day. This shit has to change.
I've tried to make a video about it (which considering my channel size got a few thousand views) or the occasional thread about this issue, but a pretty much non exisitng name in the space is just irrelevant. I wish there would be more coverage about this particular issue by bigger channels pointing at it to at some point force valves hand.. As someone who grew up with CS, this shit is not just heartbreaking but also aggrevating AF.
So this video is really cool as the issue is openly being talked about by a pro, which is shining a light on it and always a good thing. Thanks for that!

Even in EU mm it seems like at the very least 1 in 15 games has a cheater. That's just my experince because leetify sends a notification if a player you played with or against gets banned and that's just banned cheaters so the real amount is probably closer to 1 in 10 games.

I basically give them a three strikes policy. I never call it just for aim as there are some low rank players who just grind dm all day, I only call it when they make low % plays that they don’t have information to make multiple times per game, or the obvious stuff like doesn’t clear 4 common spots but jiggles the off angle you’re holding.
Tbf I’ve only played against 1 cheater that I know of in the past 3 months, haven’t had any other suss games. Maybe I’m just lucky in my region
@@hiimroo3120 honestly off angles is the best way to tell a cheat. I understand him checking for an off angle that me or my teamates already used in the game multiple times but if i change 4 times off angles and he always checks them then thats sus but its ok i havent seen cheats in a while

Vertigo is an ANCIENT ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) map, I remember it from the 1.6. It was bugged as shit then, and its still bugged now. However I like to try new things, especially when stacking something on it comes into play, but I generally agree, that its harder to find players in MM on these unpopular maps.

Give him some time to grow first. Dimitri is my fave but there were definitely times where he either just reiterated the same thing multiple times over before letting Elige talk. 6 months time Dimitri will be a pro and could easily do a podcast.

its to the point where csgos most exciting things are majors (stickers) and "a new caseeeeeeeeee" theres nothing exciting about it or rewarding except 3 dollars from a case every weekl. gotta incentivize the players to play more.

Yeah even in asia there are less cheaters and less in lower ranks but esports means nothing in my region.
It doesn't either in NA. In the US, half the country doesn't even know esports exists, and the half that does think it's a joke and believe it's what ruined video games. Everyone here that wants to take CS and esports seriously is moving to other countries.

The same as always. There are the ones who have the high end software that go undetected for long time or always. Then you get spikes thru time whenever a few free or cheap ones get available. So whenever you see a bunch in game or get caught, that is just the spike of a few trying out cheap or free things. Sometimes it is the biggest name or just a nobody, but 100% they are there at all levels. However they are in all competitive things so you either have to accept it and use them to get better or drop the game. When I was young and traveled for cs, playing vs cheaters was almost my fav. It sucked but the learning was massive. Best times are winning matches with your team vs a team of cheaters. Sometimes they give up hiding it, still doesn't make them any better.
What's ur rank? I'd guess cheaters in mm are in the higher ranks, last saw a cheater when I played with a friend in casual who doesn't have prime, my peak is sem currently s4/se and no cheaters once in 100+ hours

2:10 - Valorant has none either, it manages to provide negative incentive by deranking you each act.
I'd rather get deranked every act and easily work my way up instead of winning 20 matches in a row destroying my opponents without a rank up only to lose all the progress with just 1-2 losses.
