When my oldest granddaughter got married I took one of my biggest basket I had it was green I spray painted it white then I hot glued some material over it to make it look like a beautiful white wedding veils onto the handle then I filled it up with all kind of personal hygiene gives for her and her new wife with each one having their own color theme then I put a string of battery-operated fairy lights all around it since I wasn't going to be there when they opened it when I wrap it I left the battery pack outside of the package and instructed my daughter-in-law to turn on the lights before my granddaughter and her new wife came over to get it so that the lights would be blinking on the inside she loves you so much my granddaughter did that she put it on Facebook I was so proud that I did such a good job and it made her so happy!!!!❤❤❤
I made almost everything for my wedding. The only real things were a majority of the flowers ! Girl let me tell you I quit my full time job a year in advance to do this stuff!!! And it still took up most of my day, but I was super fun!
Another tip flower girl dresses can be expensive to Amazon has beautiful little girl dresses for very good prices. My flower girl got one for $35 and it was absolutely stunning. I told my boss about it and she got her daughter a similar one and the bride thought it was a $200 one but she had asked her to get even though it was an Amazon one. Little kids time to grow out of stuff so fast and spending $200 on a dress that she may only get one you said it doesn’t make sense when they could wear it multiple times for less or only wear it once in your only spending $35 instead of wasting $200.
The thing that most of these DIY people ignore is the value of time. I have a career, there's no way it is a productive use of my time to go hunt for these baskets and then sit and make em, just to save a few bucks. Likewise, for DIY people, it is their career, this is what they do for living, so just watch it and enjoy, don't waste your time actually doing it though.
Just binged a bunch of your shorts! Sadly I can’t live a 0 waste life due to disability but it’s so cool to see others doing it!
It’s so unfortunate that there’s not many disability-friendly low waste options, maybe some day :,)

Don’t worry about it. The earth is gonna be fine after humans. It all will heal and move on no matter what. I don’t recycle.
I am a dialysis patient and ONG the amount of waste this creates is insane
But small changes an make a big
difference
Beautiful job on the basket ps thanks for sharing this
wdym 50$💀💀 weddings are on a different level of expensive omg
She was referring to one flower girl basket costing from $15.00 to $50.00.
I used a $2.00 plastic one that the kids used after for the beach and now that that’s done I store craft supplies in it.
