❓❓Frequently Asked Questions❓❓
1. How much glue and water?
- About 4 parts of glue and 1 part of water.
2. How long is the string?
- It depends on how big your star is. The sizes of the star that we made are about 6 inches wide. With this size, we start about 2 meters of the string. Add more strings if needed.
3. Can you make the star bigger?
- Absolutely.
4. What if I don't have a corkboard?
- Try using foam board or a corrugated cardboard
5. What kind of string?
- Jute twine, cooking twine, yarn.
6. What glue do you use?
- Any craft glue can be used, like Elmer's glue
7. How long does it take to dry?
- 1 Day. But we put it on top of the air vent, so the drying time is lessened to 30 minutes to one hour.

Thx for the video! Just a quick FYI...,Do all the string work first and then dip it in liquid starch! So much easier, dries stuffer, less messy, and dries clear!

@@EytoZeeCreative My brain is 100% analytical. I think that may be the only trick I know! It’s just SO much easier to wrap everything with dry string, and then either dunk it in liquid starch, or pour the starch over it. It doesn’t ruin any part of the craft- just hardened the string!

Did you try it? It doesn’t really work that well, it’s coated all the way around and seals 🦭 the twine when dipped and squeezed off, you’d miss parts. Ha ha I felt like it’s coating all fibers Re other way.

Loved this. Thank you :-) Its never too late for holiday crafts! I will still make this lol. I have to tell you however, I will definitely make sure I dont take this out in the cold just to be safe. I watch someone else's craft video and had done the string like this around a balloon. I let them sit for 2 days before I popped the balloons. They were nice and sturdy. I hung them outside. When I went out like 6 hours later they were nothing but string dangling. They completely collapsed :-( so instead of remaking those, I will make these and hang them inside :-) then I will tag you the photos.
