- Radio Shack Vintage Tsunami Rc Boat another great Fleamarket find I picked this classic radio shack boat up for twenty dollars and it turned out to be in full running condition I was amazed by as most of the time these classic rcs need some work to get them going bench work filmed with my Samsung s22 ultra and action shots were filmed with my insta360 go 2 and edited with powerdirector pro

The RC boat looks fun too, isn't it🎶👍🤝
Looks like an old boat He's moving so well~~^^👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you very much my friend
That Radio Shack Tsunami boat is a DIAMOND IN THE RUFF a great Find. Doesn't need to be a speed boat as long as it is fun to run. Still sounds like all electronics are working smoothly. Thank for sharing. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️👍🤜🤛
Thank you very much I was pretty excited about it I love the classics fun to collect and run
great vid bud took me back down memory lane
Fun fun fun stuff 👍. Cool find .
This is cool. I had this boat when i was very little. It took a beating on long trips around the local pond till the motor died
Very cool looking boat 😎
WOOOOOOW.!! Thats effing cool.!! I cant believe this boat not only exists, but freaking WORKS.!! I haven't seen a RadioShack in 10 years. Good stuff sir.!!
wow remember seeing these in stores cool to see it running
Love finding classics even better when they still run thanks for watching

Thank you very much my friend
@@AdventureTimeRC 😊
What a wonderful find!
And it stayed dry inside...
Thank you Del I really appreciate it
@@AdventureTimeRC It's surprising that it isn't a little faster, given that the motor is quite large for a hull of these dimensions, but as you say, a lot of the pleasure with a realistic-looking boat like this one comes from watching it go by rather than breaking spoed records.
@@Del350K4 I thought it might be a bit faster to lol
@@AdventureTimeRC The day the motor wears out and you fit a simple, new, brushed Mabuchi, you might be surprised by a 30% gain in top speed!
@@Del350K4 that is true
Nice find! 00
*Thank you for sharing a good video with a nice boat!~~~^_^*
nice boat.
Nice find Brent! It looks great back out on the water once again!👍😊
Awesome video excellent find definitely a cool old boat. Take care and keep it up brother
This is so cool, you know I'm a big vintage radio shack guy. Crazy that is has a bilge pump and gear drive shaft. Faster than I would have thought and sweet on board video!
Yeah brother can't beat the classics they are the best memories
I still own one of these boats!
Thank you that's awesome I love vintage boats
What a sweet find Bro. Early rc is so interesting. Great addition to the collection. Looks so cool out on the water. Right On 👊
Bueno amigo buen video saludos
That is awesome find very cool 👍 I'm sure you will fixe it up no problems great to see it going 🤘
What a cool boat brother looks faster with the camera on it but it’s definitely a fun little critter
Wild boat. I went to a fea market. No RCs. But I did get 14 wood hangers for 3 bucks.
Nice find buddy 😁👍 looks great fun, still can't get over how great that camera your useing is, awesome boats bobbing around an ur stud still,😊👍🙋♂️
I have the exact same boat. !!! I’m thinking of putting a bigger motor in it and propeller.
That for its age is in very good condition, for the time proportional controls was above average. I with you not fast but enjoyable to use like me with RC cars if it puts a smile on my face it's good.
👍🏽same size boat as my mini dom 👍🏽
Thank you very much my friend
@@AdventureTimeRC even though its a little slow, still very cool piece of childhood, just hearing about radio shack was cool, those days are over😔 I really think Amazon and Costco are going to take over the world, and Elon musk 😂
Not bad for an old toy grade boat, it will be fun to upgrade it to brushless and a 3s lipo
🔵🔵🔵👍👍👍😀😀😀🔵🔵🔵
Cool looking boat Brent,I must admit that vintage rc is really starting to spike my interest, espicially since I got the Kyosho Rocky. Anyway, thank you for sharing and have a great weekend 🙂👍
That is pretty cool!! I am surprised the grease was still grease and not a solid block of crud! I agree that they don't have to be super fast and cutting super sharp turns to be something you can go out and enjoy! It is a unique design of a boat! It kinda looks like they took all the available boat designs and a jet ski and mashed it into this form! To bad about the wing, fixing it won't be too bad it is just a shame you probably lose the sticker from it.
Thank you Addam I agree about the strange design I was able to get the sticker off in decent shape I have a rather large collection of vintage radio shack and Nikko boats haven't had them out for awhile I really enjoy my slow cruisers from the past
I see a brushless conversion in its future 😂
These were made by Nikko. They would’ve had a strip of Velcro to hold the top on so what you’re doing is perfect 🤘
Thank you very much Thad I will have to break out all my Nikko boats sometime a have several I converted my super cruiser over to 2.4 it goes much better
@@AdventureTimeRC nice!!
Sweet Tsunami I actually had one of these, never seen more then a pool. & my friend ended up putting fireworks to it & 😒 yah, dumb crap kids do. super cool to still see it great video Brent brother 🤟🤜🤛👊✌️👍
5:17 => Now I konw why they named it ´Tsunami´: The wake of the boat is producing 2 HUUUGE TSUNAMI waves to both sides !!!
That really works well Brent ! Even turns nice! Any idea what years this was sold! Thanks for sharing my friend!👊🏼😎💦
👍👍👍👍
funny old find, Tyco/Nikko had a 370-380 motor with 1.6:1 or 1.7:1 gearbox "in the way", the old Nikko Barracuda here is needing mod completion.. a 390 motor direct drive into a surface prop will near triple the speed, not as simple as one may think for the other "fun" work required.
This is awesome. My son actually just got the exact same model from his uncle, and it's in a similar shape. I intend to try it out in the next couple of days. What did you use for the antenna tube?
Thank you I used actually antenna tube its really inexpensive to buy most hobby stores still carry it
lucky
I remember these. You got a deal. They go for 80-120 on eBay in not that good of shape
