If this wasn't a coincidence, then it shows how Austin and possibly HF respect you as a reactor and a person. If it was, someone upstairs knows this will make you a stronger person. Personally, I have only ever got through a difficult part of my life by feeling the pain and reacting to it. I've only ever done this in private, but hat's off to you for sharing your pain with the family. We're here for you to lean on.

Eight years ago to the day my (now ex) husband told me he found someone else, and was leaving after over 10 years of marriage. I grieved like someone died...in a way it was me or the me I thought I was supposed to be. I didn't even think of dating for almost 2 years. You can't rush healing from such a significant loss, and you should never feel guilty for however long you feel that hurt. I'm sure you know it will eventually get better.
Looking back now I'm actually grateful to have escaped what, I didn't realize until it was over, was an emotionally and verbally abusive person. I am happy to say I met a wonderful man who treats me like the most precious thing he's ever seen and we've been married for 4 years now. I can't completely regret the past or I might not have found my future. I'll be praying for you.

Over the last couple of years they have simply gone to another level. I liked Chris, but I noticed an improvement from the first time I heard Chance sing with them.
Agree!! I prefer chance over Chris any day! Not saying Chris wasn't a good singer but I think they picked the perfect match when they chose chance for his replacement!
Adam Chance is a great addition. I'm glad he is getting more solo parts.

I've noticed that too that chance sings way more solos than Chris did the whole time he was in home free! I think chance is a better singer but that's just my opinion.
Percy Sledge + Michael Bolton = Austin Brown - OMG!!! Never in my short 70 years of listening to Rock & Roll, Soul, Blues, Country...have I ever heard anything that even comes close to this amazing production...
It, in itself will become a timeless classic. Home Free continues to sky rocket past the other wonderfully talented A Capella groups like a freakin' IBM.... nothing against the others but these guys, when they're together, its the sum of its greatest single parts. The back up harmonies are delicious and the base and beatboxing are worthy of a Grammy alone. Together this song spoke to me in ways I've never felt... and I'm a guy.... 😍

I for one tune into reaction channels because I want to see a honest to God reaction. You sir did just that. You gave us a true honest and raw emotional reaction. I think Home Free with Austin singing lead knocked this cover out of the ballpark as the saying goes. This is no exception, each one gave us an awesome vocal and they really should be super proud of this cover! Now for the ladies, I thought some of those not so subtle glances he gave while looking into the camera were saying, oh yeah I know, I have you right where I want you. I know that love too. My wife of 14 years was diagnosed with cancer, they gave her 2 weeks. I sat by her hospital bed for 2 1/2 years begging God not to take her till finally he healed her. I don't know what you were going through but in the end God always has a plan.
I saw this on the Patreon preview as well. When I saw what the song was, I thought, "This is going to be good!" When I watched it & Austin belted out that first phrase, all I could think was, "WOW!" Excellent song! Austin with another smashing lead and great harmonies from the guys. For you, Dennis: I applaud your courage; that even though this song is causing obvious hurt to rise to the surface, you still wanted to put this out anyway. To recognize and face your pain is bold and brave, it's also great that you can have the faith to share your tough times with your friends on CZcams. I'm praying for ya, brother. Sometimes, holidays can be so awful; that they can dredge up the things we're trying to heal and move forward. Just remember, that your love, Jesus, is here for you - before, now, and forever. I had an idea how hard this would hit you as soon as I saw that you had a premiere time set. Genuine raw emotion is such an integral part of the human experience, and I wanted to take a little extra time and thank you for what doing this reaction demanded from you. You didn't dress it up. You just reacted. Thank you. Thank you for being yourself.
And Austin absolutely killed it. The man has been on a tear lately. Heck, the whole lot of them have. It's beautiful to see Austin spotlighted so thoroughly, though. This will have to tide me over, as I've been needing more of an Austin fix after Unchained Melody.
They do see and listen to fans. I'm sure they can't do everything everyone asks about, but I had that same experience, not with a song, but at a concert when my friend and I were at the signing table after a show we had to drive hours to see, we mentioned to Austin that they should come to our town and do a concert. As far as I had known, Home Free had never been in my town to do a concert ever, but half a year later they came to my local venue and did the concert. I'd like to think it was because I asked and they listened.

Dennis don't be sorry to show what you feel. They say big boys don't cry but REAL MEN do. I can appreciate a man who shows his feelings/emotions or let you know it by a song like this. This song hits into your heart. I was in a relationship of 25 years with a narcesist that drown me to the bottom of the ocean. He broke me as a person, my soul, my self esteem, my dignate and the trust and love in and for others. I'm 5.5 yeras single now but iff I ever will find another guy and he would tell me he loves me I hope it will be like this.
I can tell you what it is. They have been on the go for many years and because of Covid they have been at home with their families for about a year and got the long vacation they all needed and all now have a new passion for music.

They've gotten physically fit (Tim's giving Austin a run for his money as the group heartthrob with that new haircut), their creativity has exploded and their vocals are better than ever.
