Funny thing, I was going through some physical therapy and a guy was getting therapy for a knee replacement. His therapist Lyndsay was bending his knee and he started screaming. Everyone stopped to look, and Lyndsay was smiling. Everything is a song to me, so I yelled Lyndsay, then sang Don't get your pleasure from my pain, and everyone clapped!

My youngest daughter is now in her 20s...but back in elementary school; she'd yell and confront bullies that were making a little girl in her wheelchair cry, and became her recess buddy who would stay in with her to play. I'm so glad my kids weren't ever the bully..its so heartbreaking; still after all these years.Awesome job guys🥰🤠
Wow I’m 24 I lost my mama three years ago she was 45 at the time she would of been 50 next July and my sister whose 26 also has full autism and Down syndrome I have borderline autism and no Down syndrome she’s a ward of the state of Texas since our mom passed and songs like this hit hard for me every time 😢

Yes she's signing an artistic interpretation in ASL. She does it beautifully! My daughters are deafblind, Usher's Syndrome, so I've signed for 44 years. I used to sign songs to them and we danced. My younger son beat up bullies when they picked on the special needs kids.
That kid represents the best of us.

This song has always gotten to me. I was bullied from kindergarten though 12th grade so it hits home. It was nothing like kids have to deal with today. I knew this was going to get to me. I LOVE the story in the video. Thank you for reacting to this.

I just lost my second of three children on September 211, 2022. He was found dead by a total stranger and while I'm thankful it wasn't a family member, it sent so many different waves of emotions thru me. There's nothing worse than losing a child. This was an awesome video that makes you think and tugs at your heart strings. GREAT reaction.

As a smallish kid I was the one standing on the side, as a less small kid I was the one who befriended those who were bullied, I then became a single teenage mom at age 19, and my son ended up being bullied in school. I also have a nephew with Downs Syndrome, and my partner was the geek with glasses as a kid. Yeah, this song gets to me and the way it's performed, the inclusiveness. I do prefer focusing on bringing more love than fighting what we don't like, because whatever we focus on grows. That's why Mother Teresa never attended a stop/fight campaign, but gladly prompted pro peace/love campaigns. That's why she was great. I'm glad that Home Free while in their words talk about fighting bullying use love and inclusiveness as the counteraction.

As a neurodivergent parent of a neurodivergent child, I've not seen the problem of bullying improve a bit in an entire generation but I wholeheartedly appreciate Mark Wills and Home Free for spotlighting the cause.

🍟 As a Grandma to an Autistic Granddaughter and a Down Syndrome Granddaughter this struck a very deep chord for me.
My Autistic sweetie was recently 'expelled' from her Homeschooling program because she had missed too many days.
Her Mom was going through breast cancer surgery & chemo, so yes she missed some days - but still managed to get all A's. Life sucks sometimes.
This song and video speaks volumes for those who can't!

You're not the only one who this song hit hard. I have been bullied by more than just people outside the house. I've dealt with abuse, both physical and psychological, from not only my blood father, but two of my four stepfathers. At a young age, I was also made fun of because of me not being able to communicate properly due to the abuse I took due to not knowing what should be filtered or not said at all. I have had a few suicide attempts because of what I went through as a child, and I can only imagine what my mother had to go through with her taking more punishment than I did. If not for the grace of God I wouldn't be here today. This song definitely calls me through my own pain and suffering, and I thank you, Mark Wills, for this legendary piece of music. I pray no one has to go through the trials that I have had to go through in the journey of life.
The girl in this video is the oldest child of one my family's BEST friends!! We still stay in contact and talk to them too!! I was so happy to see her apart of this video!!!!

I know what bullying is. Not by children, but by the teachers.
It's so good that it's getting attention. Because bullying has to end. Think about what you're doing to someone like that.
I never told anyone before. I let it go and thought I could handle it. But I developed a fear of failure and inferiority complex about it. Fortunately, I had and have very dear family and friends around me, who unconsciously dragged me through it. It was only when I was 57 years old that I went to therapy for it.
Don't worry about being emotional, we all are. These young people are amazing and doing their part in the song. I drove a school bus for 30 years and a lot of that time I had special needs students on my bus. They were amazing and some were quite funny. I had one who didn't speak well and was wheelchair bound. He called me "Ena" and had learned some not so good words from his grandpaw. LOL! He was so funny. I miss those kids. Thank you for being you.

I'm an Empath also. I feel other's emotions and I feel other peoples pain...liks I said an EMPATH. It can be both a gift and a curse. Depends on the situation, lol. But I truly know how you feel, because I actually DO know how you feel....We as Empaths, we know all the feels....

This song hits home for me because when I was growing up I was also bullied and from being bullied I know how that feels I cried myself to sleep always wondering what was wrong with me! Nothing was wrong with me at all I was perfect just the way I am and because of being bullied it made me the person I am today I cannot stand someone being bullied, especially children! Come-on people it's not hard to be kind it's free nobody knows what people go through in life be kind folks because one day it may be you

I was bullied as a small child in school and it affected my life growing up. After high school I joined the Army and that helped bring some of the real me back from being the scared and lonely little boy I had been. I hate bullies and don't stand for it. To Even now as an old and disabled veteran. God Bless everyone out there who still fights the good fight

I m 66 years old now but can still tell you the names of the girls that made fun of me growing up, the pain never ends! I still don’t feel good enough , I just wanted to be loved then and now . I just lost my whole family in 8 months,my husband of 48 years and my daughter .rip Angel and Roby!
My take is that he gave them lunches because he thinks that maybe they are hungry and in a bad situation so he wants to help them too.

Dang it, this is the second time I have watched this today and it's the second time today I have cried. The song its self is enough to get me but with the video I have no chance to not cry. I love the message, everyone should see and hear this song.

Dennis, I've been that geek that everyone picked on and called names - Martian, F*g, queer, toothpick, yes all those and many more. No matter how hard I'd try I just seemed I couldn't hit a baseball, or throw a football, or catch either. It was so bad in 8th grade I attempted suicide after school one day. I hated myself, and was convinced I was just a waste of space....my father & brother even made fun of me...even Dr Copeland the preacher at church, yes the good ol' Southern Baptist preacher who wouldn't baptize a little black girl at our Church (this was in 1966 when I was 6) yes I was traumatized a lot by my Southern Baptist upbringing. So I can relate to this song/video. Home Free always on the right side of the message....it's one reason we love them. God bless ya broski.

Omg I've got tissues ready. One of my favorite songs. I also have a 10 year old daughter who is a 27 week preemie, but also autistic. She has dealt with bullying the last few years at school and kids in the neighborhood. Has also had adults just stare at her. I remind her everyday what an amazing person she is. She was surprised that I also dealt with bullying at her age. This song is so needed right now. Can't wait to play this for her when she gets home from school.
