Argh this album has so many of my favourite Soshi bsides. Forever, Star Star Star and Day by Day are so freaking good. Day by Day is sung by the vocal line, so it's not technically a subunit but they did specifically pick the members who are more in charge of vocals for this one :) Can't wait for the live clips for all of these btw 🤭
In this album, Girls' Generation members seem to be saying, "We can sing any song.'' Please listen to the cover by Jessica and Tiffany (Sunny as well) from USA. Jessica sung 'Let It Go' and Tiffany sung 'The Way' by Ariana Grande, performed by an acoustic guitarist. Also Taeyeon's 'Into The Unknown'. This is Disney's choice of Taeyeon for the Korean version.
Actually the first unofficial subunits consisted of Jessica, Tiffany & Seohyun in (2008?) I believe. They even have multiple songs. You should check them out
This album was the first Soshi album I really got into since I became obsessed with the Bsides after watching their first concert. Every B side is just...godtierthebestamazing! I was soo obsessed with Day by Day 😂 The genre is Bossa Nova, one of Soshi's strong areas imo. I would say this album & ITNW concert really pushed me over the edge into full sone-hood 😂 I can't wait to watch you react to some of the concert clips from this album! Yeah, sadly even though she is vocal line Sunny's vocals are super underrated by the general public since when they think of Soshi's amazing vocalists its the other four powerhouses in the vocal line (Taeng, Sica, Fany & Seobaby 😂) that come to mind and Sunny gets left out. I remember when Sunny did a collab song with Miryo from Brown Eyed Girls called 'I Love You, I Love You' and the top comments were all: 'WwhAat I didn't know Sunny could sing?!' 'Wow, Sunny sings really well!' 😂 Like, people were so suprised 🤦🏻♀️you'd think that 5 years into her career, people would've noticed that she could sing 😂 Btw that song is amazing be sure to check it out in the deepdive or when you do the BEG solos 👍😂
I always loved sunny voice .it always felt very different and special . To me sunny has an amazing voice .I wish she released more solo songs . My bias is yoona who barely has any lines😢.I wished they would have given her more
