  • Edit : the e20-p is 4 & 1/8" deepand not what my crazed brain told me to say in this.
    Back to your normal programme!
In November 2019, I bought my Eastman E20-P online from a London store closing down.
In October 2020 , I saw a "special" 00 by Eastman -an E40-00. (lots more costly but with a Martin style "40" abalone trim).
I'm not usually attracted by "bling" but I'd always thought that if I were ever to have one, it should be a small -size 0 or 00 - like Joan Baez's 0-45.
For my fellow nerds here are the essential dimensions :
    Both have Martin short scale = 24.9” with 1 & 13/16” nut width and a 2 & 5/16" string spacing.
    The Size “0” is 13 & ¾” wide, 19 & ¾” long and 4 & 1/8” depth.
The Size “00” is 14 & 3/8” wide (5/8” wider) same body length and 4”deep.
These dimensions differ from Martin specs by the odd 1/16" and frankly the differences between the size "0" Concert design and the "00" Grand Concert design is minimal.
I honestly cannot say which size I prefer, as I love them both, and no I'm not being paid to promote Eastmans or any of my other guitars - I bought them because I like them.
Note: I don't do reviews of guitars that I don't own.
    Questions and queries always welcomed.
    Thanks for watching.
