Just Biatch......That wasn’t my take on his advice to her. I understood him to say “ ask your question and let your guest answer. Don’t talk over them or cut them off bc you can loose the chance to stifle tv gold”. That was what I heard him say.
Yeah but he asked her that question and she literally went off on a totally unrelated tangent and didn't even answer the question... proving his point.

@@lauralynn3450 that's the way I took it too. But also I've found that Drew is amazing with words. She'll be talking to someone and they'll babble on for a while and then she'll nail their point in one five word sentence. I think she's got it covered in that area.
Agreed. I like her just the way she is. I like the way she goes off on tangents... my brain works the same way. Finally, someone who Talks the way I think! She’s the real deal.

Its annoying when a host interrupts a guest all the time so I dont think his advice was that bad, hes had years in the business, love him or hate him , he knows what hes doing

Drew B. is a such a lovely, transparent soul. How refreshing to have such a self-aware, yet unpretentious, celebrity 🙏 her career has spanned decades because of her beautiful character (not to mention her obvious talent, work ethic, physical beauty, etc etc )

It was a good tip, he was being helpful. Not change herself. Listen to what he said. He’s talking about her rambling on and on. And while it’s cute he is right, a talk show host needs to have sound bites, bits, and the rest is for the guests. She made his point crystal clear cz she responded by rambling about something that wasn’t about what he asked. That’s why they smiled, cz she proved his point right way. He was helping her. Which she appreciated. Not everything is aaaaah the man is after the womaaaaan

It's 5:30 in the morning and I just watched a few hours of The Making of and the Whoopi, Gayle, and this interview, and I must say, I'm a smarter, happier, and more hopeful person for it. You just made me want to whip out an Excel sheet for my life, which I have every only done for work, but this 2020 life is calling for a different approach to 2021. More sleep, more water, more exercise, more Drew.

He doesn't get her....she's a genuinely nice person...not perfect but kind and genuine...for someone like Andy that is beyond incomprehensible because in his mind life was not easy, fair, just, blah, blah, blah...so he's became the "mean girl." He hurt others instead of being the one hurt...but what he misses is the fact that that is always a choice. Yes, Drew is a Barrymore, but her life was never definitely easy, just or fair in many ways just like she said she learned from her mistakes and has allowed life to make her better, stronger and genuine for what she has been able to gain. I love the way she showed him that by the end of the conversation. And as much as he may not like it, he will never be able to tear her down with his jealousy or cynicism cause she knows who she is. And she was so nice with the compliments. Looking for the good in people (and in real time) is a gift. You got it Drew!
