  • Unfortunately, our Breville Barista Express espresso machine's group head started leaking badly. You can purchase a replacement group head seal for your Brevillehead can be caused by two things: either the group head seal is worn out, or the portafilter collar is loose or worn out. However, 99% of the time, a leaky group head is caused by a worn-out group head seal. The replacement process is very fast and easy, taking only around 15 minutes. You can purchase a replacement group head seal for your Breville Barista machine on Amazon for around ten dollars. Good luck with this fix.

      I started that process, and then got scared I would destroy my machine. So, now it just grinds my beans and makes me hot water.... Guess I should finally tighten those blasted screws.
