Sir, I didn't understand the fact that the property was bought at 15-20% down payment that's means you still don't have full possession of the property as it is funded by bank too, then how can you sell a property which is not wholly owned by you?
Hi Asish, That's how the system works here. YOu fully own the property and bank register their mortgage/loan against the property. When you sell it and you get the money, the lawyer discharge the mortgage by paying money to the bank first.

I bought a house in 2019 by paying cash. I don't need to depend in any tenants to pay off my bills, nor do I have any mortgage. That is true freedom, not buying with 15% down, which is just stupid!
buying a house on cash in this country is not a smart investment decision.
@@ather1276 It may be smart to outplay and outwit the system and live on debt for the rest of your life. But it is wise to be free from debt and sleep well at night! The choice is yours.

The income has been stagnant but the house prices have doubled tripled …. Immigrant coming today is no less than the ones came 15 years ago ; with the same fire and motivation . However things have change
HI Mansi, The face of immigration has changed a lot. The class of immigrant coming these days is much different than 15 yrs before. People are starting with 6 fig jobs and are bringing good amount of money for their settlement funds. That's what is pushing the market upwards.

Great Video, What is the Downpayment for the first-time homebuyer?
If you are Canadian resident than you can buy a house with down payment of 5% and if you're not a Canadian than you have to pay 20% down payment.
You can buy the house even with 5% down payment. But with 10% or more it’s easy

Couple of things here…. How were you able to buy a 300k house with $30000/yr salary. Even with commission on to may be $40000 and you gave 45k down payment. Still 40k income is only good for 200k mortgage with 45k down …. How did u pull it off?
I used to make handsome commission at that time and amortization was 35/40 years.
@@RiseWithRaman My bad. That makes a lot of difference. Can you imagine if 35/40yr amortization comes back now? What will that do to our already hot real estate prices and sales lol
Can you tell us what were your jobs? How did you get a mortgage within 90 days of landing? I'm pretty sure the credit score wasn't much in 90 days!?
Jas It was not 90 days to me, It was 90 days to my wife's landing. I was almost 2 yrs in this country by that time and used to make approx 90k in my job.

Nourin, I personally don't recommend to buy the first house on cash as you should use bank's money which is available at a very cheaper rate and should invest the remaining money in other Real Estate

None of the points you have stated are applicable in the current market scenario. Double garage detached is going for 1.1 million At least in Brampton . No one is putting conditions ( such as inspection) etc on house offer these days due to fierce competition. Good luck being a first time homebuyer . What kind of wonders can save max do in this scenario ?

Whoso ever will use the house will pay the interest and principal. We can't get it for free.
