- In this video we will try to breakdown how we installed a multi-zone smart drip irrigation system in our backyard, dividing the process into 3 steps to hopefully make it easier to follow. We went with an in-line install that taps into our house’s main water line, but if you’re planning to setup a system that stems from a hose bib in your garden or yard, most of the same basic principles will still apply.
We setup 2 zones for our backyard so that we can more accurately care for different types of plants. Once it was all setup and running the yard will be completely self-maintaining-meaning no more watering with the hose!

For the shrubs you may want to consider using bubblers instead, they spray around in 6 or 8 ish directions instead of just putting it all in one spot.
