How can you do a u turn over the Continuous dividing line ? don't you have to look for a dotted line ?
The continuous line that cannot be crossed for a uturn is the one in the middle of a road dividing two roads. The continuous line at the beginning of intersections or tintersections can be crossed if you're doing a uturn. Two different kinds of lines!

As well when you are turning to the main road, there is a solid line, that mind you need to stop and check and then go into?

Can you turn left a bit before?making the right u turn? That should be able to give the driver more space?
Short answer no. That's a mark down in a driving test. When you indicate right, you must not go to the left side of the road. That's contradictory. The indicator and the road positioning need to match.

What if there is a car approaching from the side road? Who should give way?
You need to give way to them. The car that's doing the u-turn must give way
Mr Omid, tell me if this is right. At the start we should indicate the right signal and after turning do we have to signal left to enter the lane with a shoulder check ? In this video there is a solid line after we turned right so maybe we should definitely indicate . But how about if we dont have a solid line. Do we still need to indicate??
For every uturn, we must indicate right at the start when approaching the intersection. Indicating left at the second corner is not necessary, but if you do it, that's not a driving error. Shoulder check is required at the start of the manoeuvre, not when you finish it

You need to put the turning lights the whole time?
Just at the start. It will stop by itself at the second corner and that's fine
After the solid line, you don't need to put the light? My instructor said yes
@@maaryes You don't need to. But if you do that's not a driving error. Only one right indicator is enough when doing such U-turns
I don't think u can do a u turn here on a solid line. He can go a bit ahead on the road and then take a u turn. That's what my assessor told me.
You absolutely can. This is common in QLD.
@emudrivingschool well my assessor told me here in Tasmania that you're not supposes to do that. I got a minus point because of that. 😐
