After you swearing they said something about shipping date?
How long takes the Background check!?
Do you know with kind of Security Clearance they require!?

Regarding EMs, they are actually one of the few jobs that don't require a high clearance, just the regular standard background check! As regards to a background check, it honestly depends on the rate, but I was told sometimes you are contacted and sometimes you are never reached out to and nothing happens after that 😂. You will choose your ship date before you swear in, the same time you choose your job. You'll be given a few options of days and months to ship (could be anywhere from July to next year), but choose something you feel comfortable with and don't settle! You can always return if they don't have the job available that you want at the time, so best of luck!
👋! They really changed the game for prior service ppl to get back in smh. They always say it's harder to get back in as prior service. I'm still waiting to hear back from my consult results. My recruiter told me they had to submit a waiver for a med-read along with my consult results. Like what kind of mess is that lol. Oh well, hurry up and wait it is. I'm about to get CoolSculpting done on the 15th of April so guess that'll buy them some time until my stomach is not red anymore to go to MEPS for an inspect and hopefully swearing. So now my new guests will be the first week of May to swearing and then the first week of June to leave for AIT!
So sorry to hear that man 😢 just keep your head up because MEPS is so bad I know! Definitely make sure your stomach doesn’t get any harsh blemishes so they don’t ding you at MEPS for something dumb dumb 😂 love hearing your updates! 🥲
@@briannawood2124 yeah, MEPS will always be MEPS 🤦. Most definitely! Tummy gotta be on point lol. I haven't reached a year of trying until September 2021 so not to bad I guess, but they got until May 2021 to give me an answer or else I'll just continue to be successful in my civilian life in the medical field. So we shall see!
