    I would love to have you go through my GS and do some things I just can’t find the time to do, your attention to detail and your professionalism when working on cars is always on point. One day I’m going to cash in about 2 weeks of vacation time and work on mine the whole 2 weeks. 👍✌️

    I think I’m going to have to do this to my car 👍👍

      Nice! Next episode will show more of welding the exhaust system and stuff.

    You should utilize some helmholtz resonators

    My little brother welds, would you not recommend me doing 2.25 x pipe? I’ll be doing a muffler delete and maybe headers but since I’m im in CA not sure if it’ll pass smog. I’ve read that the headers aren’t connected to the catalytic converters so technically it should pass smog, also I’ve looked at them and it looks that way.

      If you are asking about the V8, then here’s my answer: I’d keep the stock Y’s and just play with the sound by messing with the muffler areas. Remember, this is the same system that flows nicely on other Lexus vehicles, such as the 460. So the sizing is well suited for up to 350 WHP. Unless you exceeded that, there’s no reason to screw around with the pipe size. I have spent way too much money on messing with my exhaust for no reason.

      Well I wanna to open it up with headers and maybe do apexi neo and street tune. Since I’m in CA I might not do much (maybe some nitrous) but mostly suspension mods and how it looks. I just want some extra power for when I’m in the open roads down here.

      The best bang for the buck on improving acceleration is the 3.7 aristo TT diff. It’s the best $300 i ever spent. Granted it’s an open diff, but I really felt that mod. I have an episode on it if you need it. 👍

      Waiting to see when you put on the headers as well to see “gains” and yes sorry I didn’t clarify it’s a 400. I like the open diff but my local track is Laguna seca so I wanna be able to put some numbers down vs my buddies

    Hey I got a Gs300 and having a charging system problem, before I start the car it'll be 12.5v and when I start it, it drops to 11.9 but doesn't drop any more even after serval minutes, after turning my car off battery was still 12.5v? Any suggestions?

      Alt voltage is out of spec. I have a vid on it.

      @@ForwardMomentum I did watch the video and it is very similar my problem but I tried a remanufactured one and then one online that proclaimed 200amp, I'm definitely not the most experienced but do you think I need a desno alternator? Also I bought my car after it sat 4 months, rebuilt the engine, new blim battery and the few alternator attempts, if a mouse chewed threw a wire could it also cause this problem?

    • @ForwardMomentum
      @ForwardMomentum  Před rokem

      Definitely check all connections and grounds, to and from the new ALT. The regulator is integrated into the ALT, so after confirming its absolutely a charging issue (vs a poor or faulty connection), you may need to explore the ALT being the culprit. I have seen people upgrade with success, but it seems like some of these reman’d ALTs can have issues out of the box. Good luck and keep me posted. 👍

      @@ForwardMomentum much appreciated, if I buy a new alternator do you know where to get a new oem/desno one? My brother checked all the engine bay wiring, I haven't checked anything under the dash but I know I seen a mouse nest where the cabin air filter is
