Let me give you some info on this incredible trio and event:
• Igor Krutoy, the pianist, is there as an overall lead because the event is built for him: this is his birthday event that he organized with all his favorite artists, the ones that he is used to collaborate with and the songs he has composed. Igor is considered as the godfather of the russian music scene, a bigger equivalent for Russia of David Foster for North America.
• This is not the first time that Lara sings this song (composed by Igor) in trio but the third time: she performed in the original version with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Alina Yaroyava then again later with Dmitriy and Sumi Jo, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. The song was composed from day one with her voice in mind. She has been collaborating with Igor for more than 10 years, they co-created many songs together and he has told from her that she is “the best singer and the best songwriter he has ever worked with”
• This also explains why the song does not expose more of Dimash’s upper register: it was written for the late Dmitri who was a pure baryton.
• Lara was very very sick that day, with fever and strong medication but she is skilled enough to have made it unnoticeable
• Also, like Dimash, and even if the song was composed that way with her in mind, Lara does not sing in her real « comfort zone »: she is, as Aida, a lyrical soprano but here she plays the role in the trio of a mezzo-soprano and takes the median register. It requires a lot of voice control to not interfere with Aida’s high note and does not allow her to really shine. She gives room to Aida to do it instead and Aida uses this magnificently.
• It was the first time Dimash met his idol Lara (he is a fan since he is a child and he covered several of her songs such as Adagio, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde, Know, … / she influenced him a lot on the way he performs and builds his songs) : look how quickly he turned to her, despite he has not finished his duo section with Aida 😂 And how he looks at her and hold her after it …
• Lara is the most comfortable in italian because it is her first native language even before french: her mother is italian and while born in Belgium she spent her first 7 years in sicilia before returning there. She also is married to a sicilian man
• Look how dimash slightly adapted his vibrato to better match Aida or Lara
• Also there is a debate about the final note, held for such a long time, with the conductor looking at Igor and Igor smiling: Did they make a prank to the singers by extending this last note? Or did the singers instead played with them? I personnally think this is more option 1 😀
• I forgot to add that Lara has been classically trained for more than 10 years at Brussels Royal Conservatory and still continues to receive voice lessons on a daily basis. And she has sung many times opera pieces or with opera singers.
• Final note to say that Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics of the song Your Love for Dimash

Such a beautiful song & performance. I love how Igor looks like a proud father at the end of the performance. This was a concert for Igor's 60th birthday & features brilliant songs from Dimash, Ayda, Lara & Andrea Bocelli too.

The lady with the blond hair is Lara Fabian , she is Dimash idol since he was a kid, he used to fall a sleep listening to her songs. He did covers of many songs from her and she even wrote a song for him title is....Your love !

Wonderful trio. I always have to smile the way Dimash looks at Lara. She was the woman with the blonde hair. He adores her. Lara has been Dimashs' idol for years. And here they are singing in Italian. Lara was very ill at this performance. She had a cold and a fever. I heard that she jokingly said to Dimash that he could take over her part if she couldn't sing😂. She is also a total professional.
This was a performance on the occasion of an anniversary of the composer Igor Krutoy in 2020. Aida Garifullina is a soprano from Russia, but as far as I know she also has Austrian citizenship since 2017.

Aida is really interesting. She is a major opera star at the Vienna State Opera and a fashion model. A stunning lady with a beautiful voice. And of course Lara, who is both beautiful and a goddess of music. Dimash is a great fit for this performance with these two great ladies. The skaters are Russian pros and olympic stars. Great stuff!
❗Funny ! Lara said during rehearsal, Aida cocked her head at Dimash and said, if I have to run out for something, he can sing my part...and burst out laughing. They lost it ! Couldn't pull themselves together, OK we're ready. One would look at the other and start laughing. Finally, she said, Aida blinking like a wild woman, looking everywhere but at Dimash choked, snorted her note through her nose, and they all got hysterical ! Igor up and pounding on the piano lid laughing gasped Break ! Lunch ! Good idea, laughing, they put on their coats, walked outside, she looked at her watch and it was 9: 30 in the morning. The audience in an uproar, she can tell a funny story !
