    Terrific review! I put the springs on my KRX about a month ago. Been out only once and I noticed a big improvement, too busy looking for a house to go out again with it.
    been a nightmare trying to find a home, I finally got my offer accepted on a home. Only 10 minutes away from Shock Therapy. I have an appointment first week of June to take it in to get the RIS done. I have it scheduled to get the IQS system installed on it too, I am hoping that makes another big improvement on the ride. I'm too lazy to keep adjusting the clickers. So I think that toggle switch they use to change the dampning will make it a lot easier. and being able to change it on the fly will be pretty cool.
    Thanks for posting this. Probably one of the best reviews of their shock work done by someone who had it done.

    Hey Ray, My KRX is scheduled to go to Shock Therapy to get the re-valving work done early next month. I picked up the springs when I was there to schedule the work and put them on. I have taken it out a few times and I don't think it is as plush as when the stock springs were on it. I have on the front upper spring 002321 and lower spring 053361 and on the back upper 00262321 and lower spring 05236. What spring rates do you have on yours? I would really appreciate it if you could look and let me know. Thanks

      To be honest I did not do my own shock adjustments so I’m not sure the settings that shock therapy performed. My apologies

      @@47rhorvath Thanks for the reply Ray, I was wondering about the springs. Each upper and lower spring has a Shock Therapy nuber on it. Doesn't mean anything to us but they know what spring rate it is by the number. The numbers I put on my original question are the springs that are on my KRX. I was wondering if yours are the same.

    OK Buddy, I have to ask. I have followed the issues that you had with Honda. I know how big those where and I respect your decision and opinion this is why I follow your channel. I do have a question and and asking your opinion. I am in the market for a SXS, I want a 4 seat and I am considering either the Can-Am X3 Max DS Turbo R or The 2021 Honda Talon 1000x 4 Special Edition. I like the HP of the Can-Am but also like the DCT on the Honda. I am looking at reliability as a major part of the user experience. I know the issues you had but I think those may have been more than anything an installation issue, it was definitely a buyer beware experience for me in that I may be a good idea to check the work of the installer, shouldn't have too but hey. What are your thoughts on either machine or any other 4 seat machine that you would consider. I would mostly be trail riding in Arizona, not interested in rock climbing but small stuff, trails, shallow flow rivers, creeks and may be even snow... Have a good one my friend! And as always, Thanks for sharing!

      Thanks for the view and the kind words.
      The Honda talon DCT transmission is what attracted me to that particular product. And of course I had bad luck ultimately with the engine setting that aside it was a good climbing machine I enjoyed it ....one thing I will notate on the Talon the geometry of the suspension is not as good as almost any other machine. It’s not horrible however it’s definitely at the bottom of the pack. If that something you’re not concerned about or you’re not gonna do a lot of high-speed rough riding it probably won’t matter. If I had to choose between those two I am personally would choose the X.3 simply because they’ve been in the game longer and have had more time to do their due diligence as far as research and development to build an overall quality machine. The Honda name attracted me just like a lot of others but let’s face it they have only been in the sport side-by-side business since 2019 the pioneer has been around a lot longer than that however that’s a different category. As far as any other 4 seat Machine I really don’t have a favorite. I wish Kawasaki had a four seat side-by-side unfortunately it’s only available in the Tyrex.
      Good luck

    Tire pressure? Do you change it for dunes vs rock? Also, do you have the front and rear sway bars connected and do you change that back and forth for different rides?

    • @47rhorvath
      @47rhorvath  Před 3 lety +1

      I don’t do much true dune riding, however the answer is no. I don’t change my tire pressure. Some guys like to drop the pressure in sand, where I ride it’s mostly hard pack ... so if I drop the tire pressure it does not allow the suspension to do his job. As far as the sway bars I only have the stock Kawasaki ones.
