    It's is usually the non European tubes that have hex nuts, Metzler and Continental tubes came with proper nuts, or at least they did when I used to fit them. Those two makes also use a thicker rubber, that fits the tyre better but not Michelin ones which are like a sausage in a shirt sleeve for a given size tyre and will deflate quicker using the balloon principle. Just a little side info for you.
