I'm so much more happier than I was in my teen years and part of me finds it a bit difficult to listen to Lund's songs anymore. It's only because I heavily related to his music when I was constantly depressed and in pain, and it feels like I'm not allowed to listen to them anymore now that I'm in a better place. I still listen to them regardless because I love Lund, but does anyone else feel like that?
Yes ik what you mean, its not good to glorify these kind of lyrics but it is what it is. It was nice at one point but doesnt resonate anymore.

If anything, im currently at a worse place than i once was mentally, and im using these songs and the gym to break myself out of this darkness. Once you've hit your lowness, your personal darkness, the only place you can go is up.
For me, it more so becomes that I try to avoid these kinds of songs in my low places. At a certain point, it became “I’m happier now, as a person, so I can listen to these songs now.”
