I have worked hard to build this channel and would be sad to lose it for something so trivial. Thanks for understanding.

Boring match tbh both of them are really passive

They can't help it. Both have amazing defense that anything less than a full powered body smash to the sidelines will be countered and then capitalized upon.
LD is already old here and has to conserve stamina while Momota doesn't have a raw smash strong enough like Lee ZJ to break through during a neutral phase.
Match is amazing imo. Momota has near same level of footwork as LD's or maybe even better but LD stroke quality,(having no backswing on strokes and no tells because he plays with relaxed natural grip and therefore no obvious muscle flexes to indicate the type of shot he plays.) is so great that Momota's split step/ready step timing is always a hair behind because he has to wait to read the shuttle flight.
On the rallies that he times his ready step well, he wins because he is faster and more fit than LD. But he tires out a bit in 2nd game because his flow is messed up on the other rallies and he loses a lot of stamina due to LD stroke quality as mentioned previously.
Amazing example of how important it is to have all your strokes look as similar as possible.

this match is a battle of tactics and attrition, not brain-dead brute power and speed. these two players are likely at the top of the world in terms of badminton IQ, and their games revolve solely around intelligent shot making. a passive game like u mentioned would be Kunlavut vs Naraoka in WC23, that match is utterly horrendous and a disgrace to MS.
