I run the protac rail mount light that uses 1 cr123. Got my first one about 6 years ago. I have them on all my long guns except one, that one has a surefire scout I received as a gift. No complaints after thousands of rounds thru various rifles and calibers, even have one on my 870. I go with what I know, but I always like seeing new things 👍
Same experience here. I’ve tried many lights and the rail mount 1 is by far my favorite. Small, light, plenty bright for most situations. Love that it can take a AA battery in a pinch. Probably the only light I’ve ever bought that I’ve been absolutely 100% satisfied with.

3:50 I get that. The only reason I still attached it to the pic mount was with the included mlok I wouldn't have been able to access my Back up magpul flip up sights so the pic. Mount option still allows me to use it if I need to.

I have that in my cart but I looked at the review and the light kept going off everytime he shoots and Its huge compared with others.
@@user-kz7ve6id5pall Streamlights do that with the non-rechargeable batteries. It does that because the batteries lose contact when firing. Can be fixed with a $0.02 oring in front of the battery.

id really like to see one of these with a dedicated button for both the light and laser. the rotary switch is kinda pointless in theory, why not just have dual constant on off, maybe the one for the light is more friendly to momentary presses.

Got the unit out to range, could be seen, in day light, and snow cover, at 25yards. Can’t say that for some others. Only slight fault is the laser adjustment isn’t as tight as is could be, hope the looseness don’t cause loosing zero

Just purchased the olight laser light combo. The laser is surprisingly bright. Olight has spoiled me over the years no more replaceable battery platforms for me personally.

I was an original Prime member (my Amazon account itself dates back to '98/99 or so... and heck, my eBay account dates back to the mid-90's, only a couple of months after eBay was still in a garage). Yeah, almost 20 years ago? Mostly for the movies originally btw; didn't use it enough then - or now - for the shipping freebies (though I certainly exercised free shipping savings in the beginning).
Original "cord cutter" here, way before it became fashionable, and - actually - way before the term was invented even (well, back then I'd never heard it... I was still getting Netflix DVD's once a month lol). I still have my original Roku (shelved long ago, obviously) lol.
When Prime membership costs went to stupid (which, again, was way before the current cost... which seem to be $139 and higher), and Prime benefits decreased (you could originally order a $5 - or less - item, and the shipping was free), I... demurred.
... said way back then I was done with Prime... and I've stuck with that. Figure that's saved me a $1000 (and probably much, much more given my tendency to impulse buys decreased) over the years. Why should I? To contribute to Amazon's bottom line for what what I regard as questionable cost-analysis benefits? Thank you... but no. Hard pass.

As for my comment a couple of months ago, I hadn't noticed it was a Prime Only deal - I hadn't really paid attention to whether stuff was often Prime Only deals on the channel at all - until a few hours later. I've since "noticed", and so haven't bothered. Or I've at least paid closer attention.
