Sonic or Blast shotguns?
(for Angler)
Sonic imo, because damage is irreparable and you're barging into enemy groups, and Sonics are obviously most effective and melee-ish range, damage per shot are very high too
Currently the shotguns, cause everyone in my matches is playing skyros lol
Sonic forever can't able healing
Sonics. If the weapon has a fixed reload and empties clip fast, the reload will be a mess. Either no reload or continous reload is ideal. On top of this, Sonics deal structural damage and leaves your target with “technically” no chance of repair. (Grey damage fixers and Durability Extender kinda Ruins it.
The 1 problem with sonics is you get a lot of ghost shots and hits that don't register. I dunno if it's lag or what but they have ghost shots worse than any other weapon. And that's a huge factor
Sonics and explo shotguns have their own strengths and weaknesses
Sonics are good very close combat and damage unrepairable is huge but reload can be a problem sometimes
Explo Shotguns benefit from having longer range and are good for skyros’ and other tanky bots and the fixed reload is also helpful sometimes
Sonic skyros better tho

@@KR-jg7gche means that you can kill skyros with it easily, you donut.
Adding on to the preference of blast shottys is that even with distance they have little dog dropoff especially when levelled to a high grade. I’d prefer to close off the distance cap than deal irreparable dmg at close range

You should do a video comparing all the different shotgun types(normal shotguns, lockdown shotguns, blast shotguns, and sonic shotguns). Put each one on a Skyros and compare.

I have 3 maxed Anglers. Two normal and one Cruel Angler but I only run the Cruel Angler now. Since they made the rust rockets redundant I've tried the sonic set up and the shotgun set up to replace the rust rockets and overall I found the shotguns work best for me. Sonics are good too, especially because of the unhealable grey damage but shotguns just seem to suit my playstyle better. It might be different for other players. It's just a preference thing I suppose.
Edit: I hate games like that first one. The reds drop in with all their Titans and you look at your team and there's only two of you left and you're only on your second bot. It's like WTF??? Sometimes you just get a really shitty team and no matter how good you are there's zero chance of pulling off the win. Lol

Can you try Stake-Spear on this? Its kinda pointless because you have 350m difference and only 1 weapon providing shield. But they all have no reload I guess?
What about blast Angler VS glory and halo Angler?
shotguns setup is a killer but stake and needle is my go to
I prefer the bsg bec they have longer range and can bypass physical shields of the rook, angler, etc and bec they do a blast explosion that does area dmg

All Sonics have that visual bug and have for a while now.

Now the robots move so fast. Plus, there is always lag in game. These make sonic weapons always miss some shots. The blast shot gun can lockdown target easily with Paralysis. I recommend sonic weapon on Scorpion to avoid its disadvantage, and blast shot gun on other robot.

Sonic weapons reloads very slowly (1 shot every 2 seconds), so it always seem like they are constantly reloading.
Fun fact: sonics are the only overpowered weapons being in meta for 3 years and don't get nerfed
They're balanced they have a long reload
I use Puncher and Devastator for my Orochi 😁😁😁
Sonic has better burst damage, but has lower accuracy beause of lag. Blast has better sustained dps and accuracy and range and is better against defence points.

Blastcharges does better because you’ll have to break nonstop aegis shields from everyone and sonics has a hard time doing that

13:10 why is your angler almost not healing at all?
There is a healing bug happening on robots using skills related to Phase Shift (Ravana, Angler, Indra,...). It makes you cannot heal even when there's no gray health
You cannot repair damage while in pasheshift mode, and all abilities related to it
@@mochiyiky8780 yes but after PS, that effect still remains after the PS. It makes me cannot heal myself (no gray health) even with healing/second effect of Repair Amplifier
