We already know the sex of our baby, but we decided to test out some of these fun gender prediction experiments to see if they were accurate in predicting whether our baby is a boy or girl. Come along on our babymoon as we’re headed to get lobster rolls. (Since getting pregnant, I have been craving all types of seafood...this baby is seriously swimming in the ocean!) #genderprediction #boyorgirl #pregnancy
If you don’t know the sex of our baby, we share it at the end!
Disclaimer: as I mention in the video, we have been referring to our baby’s “sex” as his/her “sex” not “gender.” We called our “gender reveal” a “sex reveal” for this reason. I am simply calling this video “gender predictions” since that’s what most people are searching on CZcams when it comes to this topic...but watch the video for my thoughts on this!
Here are the various gender prediction tests we tried out:
The ring test
The cabbage and urine test (the purple cabbage pregnancy test results)
The acne test
The baking soda and urine gender prediction test (the boy or girl test with baking soda)
The “are you carrying high or low?” test
The eye vein test
The sweet or salty cravings test
The Chinese gender predictor test
The Mayan gender predictor test
The morning sickness & nausea test
The spoon & fork test
The body temperature test
The clumsy vs. graceful test.
The headache test
The “is your partner gaining weight?” test
The fetal heart-rate test
The face weight gain or booty weight gain test

@@luciebfink If you want your baby to be happier you could name her Genevieve if it is a girl because it is a beautiful name meaning God's blessing in French and it would suit the name of your baby or Christian if it is a boy because it means follower of Christ and it would also suit. What do you think.

This was so fun to watch, I learned about a few I didn't know about. I've only tried the ring test when I was pregnant with my daughter, and it was accurate, it went in circles.
Any way to share what prescriptions your dermatologist prescribed that are pregnancy safe to take for acne?

Did you have a lot of heart burn? It’s another old wives tale in relation to the amount of hair that your baby will have. I had A LOT of heart burn during my pregnancy, and that, according to the tale- meant the baby will have a lot of hair. And it’s true- and she did❤️👧🏻❤️
Only once I got to the third trimester! But Pepcid has been a savior!!!
Same for me I had a lot of heartburn with both pregnancies and my daughters had a full head of hair
This was true for me too. Someone told me that the same hormone that helps grow hair also can cause heartburn but i never researched the truth in that haha.
So cool that the old wives predicted correctly! 👵🏻 Those lobster rolls looked so good! I miss fresh seafood. 🤩 Don't get much of that in Colorado! 😂

The first Test with the ring is a point for girl
But still seems like a baby boy
I saw mixed things online about that but the most credible source I could find said “back and forth” is boy and “circle” is girl!

We just found out we are having a boy, but every single old wives tale pointed to girl. I was convinced that it was a girl through the first trimester, but was mistaken! It’s funny that yours was so accurate!! One question unrelating to the sex of your baby, but around what week did you start feeling kicks from the outside?
19 weeks was my first kick felt!!!!!
