- The second King of the Hill ⅛ mile event took place at Calder Park last week. This is a lights out style event with 5 grand cash money in both street and race classes. Daniel Sharban would once again take out the street class in his very hard to beat nitrous assisted small block V8 powered Ford Capri while Daniel Camilleri took out the race class piloting his Nissan RB30 twin turbo powered Pontiac Firebird. Here’s a few highlights from the night.
Footage also includes the 1/4-mile off-street drags. Apologies for the crappy audio, we had a problematic microphone this time out.

Got a suggestion, why can't you guys have another camera down the end of the strip.
The first camera (the normal camera that u guys use all the time) and the second camera towards the end so u can see cars fly by to the finish!

The night was a mix of 1/8 grudge and a regular test night (1/4).
Fair play......keep up the good work.
Next time can you make sure you can see the times before it cuts to the next scene? I wanted to see the Lamborghini's time but it cut too early. Thanks.

hi, i dont know that mutch about cars from down under so i have a question. have the aussie car producers ever crated a pretty car? like jaguar with the e type or lamborghini with the miura? i dont mean to offend anyone but most holden/opel/vauxhal and fords is not what i would call sexy cars. again im not pissing on your rides im genuinly interrested to know.sorry for my terrible english but as u might have guessed its not my native language
Not as much, Bolwell Nagari (the one from the 70's) is a pretty nice looking car, but aussie cars are mostly muscle cars so the exotic style isn't really catered for as much, we like big heavy beasts with a big v8
