After having led a bi-coastal lifestyle for so long, Timothee Chalamet became a proud California land-owner when he paid $11 Million for the secluded home of former super-model Kate Upton and her husband, Houston Astros star, Justin Verlander in October of 2022. His new 1.5-acre estate sits right next door to an even larger estate owned by “Fast and the Furious” star and the man who single-handedly keeps the undershirt industry in business, Vin Diesel. And that’s not all. Other famous residents that Timothee can now call “neighbors” include John Mayer, Cameron Diaz, and Eva Longoria, all of whom own property within walking distance of his new place! First built in the 1970s and centered deep in the mountains above Beverly Hills, this East-Coast traditional style home has a lengthy celebrity pedigree. It was first owned in the 90s by Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Kenny G, who eventually sold the property to tennis star Pete Sampras. More recently, the estate was lived-in by big-time Hollywood producer Jon Peters, before Kate and Justin moved in next.

Timothee is genuinely kind and generous with his time. I met him once at an autograph signing before a showing of Beautiful Boy. He was so kind to everyone. Wish him the best in his career and his life. He is so talented.

New York, hands down, has an energy that Beverly Hills never will. In NYC, you're closer to so many opportunities to experience not just art and entertainment but other New Yorkers. It's the best city on the planet.
The Beverly Hills mansion may be visually appealing but, to me, it just seems sad to live behind walls like that, isolated from everything around you.

I read a few articles about high achiever these days and I came to a graphic with 2 rooms; 1 room - You're the only one standout in the room and the 2nd room, you're with those who are the same vibes with you, your head lights up the same light as others in the room with a quote that said if you're the only one standout among them, you're at the wrong place. So, relate it to Timmy's decision, I think that's what his decision is all about -- high achiever move. I'm sure everyone wants to see him even more successful in the future; I definitely want to see him in more movies.

Wait didn't he say once that he didn't want to do the Hollywood thing that as far as he was concerned he would always be in New York as that's where he grew up that's where his family and friends were and that's where he wanted to be he did not want to do the show business I'm a movie star bit and Hollywood or in Beverly hills seems like Timothy may be changing.
I am all for calling celebrities liar but you have to remember he is getting lots of movies deals. It also happens that L.A is the main center for movies and tv shows. So It would make sense for him to live there because it would make it more easy to attend auditing that are in LA . so I believe he is there not by choice but because that is we’re the work is.
I mean he still has his apartment in NYC and he's definitely still primarily living here. I think he just wants a home in LA so that he doesn't have to keep living g out if hotels when his work inevitably takes him there for projects.

@@skreety0455 They're not interested in doing it. Armie Hammer and his creepiness ruined that whole thing. It's like the very idea of doing the sequel is haunted. Also even some members of the gay community viewed it as a pedo movie anyway. An older guy going for a 17 year old who was new to being gay? Not a good look.

He's not in his early 20's, he'll be 27 at the end of December this year (2022). Also at 7:19, I've never heard anyone refer to LA as being "down South". As it was referring to where LA is in relation to NY, that would be the West Coast, so even out West would have sounded better than, down South. Lol. Just wondering how he managed to afford to live alone in NY as a teenager? And rent the same place for so many years and with no one revealing where it is. I guess his parents must be mega rich and paid his rent initially maybe?

Houses out there are so high, no one was buying. They are in the $50M range, plus or minus. This is the first price I've seen that is affordable. His Mother is a Real Estate Agent. I know they got a good deal.

He lives between LA and NY and has done since becoming famous.
