The BBU has brought out the most insane routines from people. The rounds are blind and released at the same time. Criteria is originality, complexity, timing, enjoyment of listening, audio/visual, battle move, user voting (most likes in 24 hrs) and sxin n chezame can give an extra point for anything they deem worthy 😅 dropical took this one :) they’re also allowed to add minor effects to their routine as long as it’s still noticeably beatbox and can be beatboxed by 1 person. Also there is no time limit. Some

With bbu was specifically to bring out top tier music video style beatbox. They have David dertyp I believe who is their friend who has offered to edit audio and visual for free for all competitors. This came up when inertia was battling helium as helium is in Russia it was extremely expensive and taxing for him to find a good place to film and edit audio/video to top tier quality. Sxin and chezame take time to speak on audio quality and video clarity so much that they almost shame you if they’re not amazing as they offered an editor to everyone
The video quality does count for a point in the scoring, but they also get a good amount of prize money the further they advance, so that can help offset costs to some extent. Its also judged more in terms of how the video suits the round, so even someone not going crazy filming in a bunch of locations can still score the point with a simple video if they have a nice control of lighting, color, composition and what not.

Had to make a second comment to state. Dropical isn’t a hugely known beatboxer, but he is a world champ. He won world champs a few years ago.

@@chrisshanteau5353 it's not rlly world champs, i mean its not the same one as beatbox battle tv, its a whole different organization and its a yearly event unlike world champs which is like every 3 years
