As an Aussie, this is brilliant. Anything that happens in Australia upsets Melbourne and the exasperated low effort appologies take a day to make them stop crying.

Scotland is part of Britain, it's British humour. If some parochial English nationalist started babbling on a Monty Python policeman sketch that this was specifically "English" humour it'd be rather sad. Same applies here.
