I was just going to feed the algorithm but I’m actually living vicariously through this channel.

Hawaiian shirts in sci-fi always remind me of Wash from Firefly!
Great info here, man, thanks for sharing! 🖖

Only one thing to say. "Right". Brett from Alien. 👍

Certainly put together a mean costume. The spacey futuristic grungy look is definately a timeless winner a-la-Harry DS in Alien, as you posed. Nice one Anthony, thanks

You can tell a great deal about the character with how they're dressed. I LIKE IT!

  • @thetribunaloftheimaginatio5247

Yeah... this is how I make costumes. My own look as "The Wizard Of Snark" is inspired in part by guys like "Howlin' Mad" Murdock from "The A-Team," as well as plenty of shout-outs to Masters Of The Universe and Final Fantasy.

I love the design of the 8/infinity logo. Hexagons speak scifi to me like how blue does to you

My "big tip" is that freezer paper works really well for fabric stencils, one roll was about 10 bucks iirc and lasts virtually forever. You just iron it on, shiny side down. If you have space in the middle you don't want painted (like the hole in the letter A) you can just lay all the parts down, iron it, then peel back where you want it coloured; also works for different levels of saturation (especially if painting straight on black, build up layers, peeling back more to reveal the parts you want to stay darker)

Looks like this guy works at a space garage, it’s company clothing, so just trash it when it’s done. Nice job putting some History into it. Looking forward to your next Blockbuster!

Love to see more CreateScifi! YT doesn't suggest shorts to me so I get excited when one of your videos pop up! Love the costume design

Love what you do and so inspiring in things I'm trying to do. The quality of stuff you do looks better than stuff with people that have a budget, that's just a example of working it well with what you got, and you do that sir!

Hey Anthony first of all, keep up the good work, second, thank you for this videos, because now i have a solid costume design for a character I've been working on since college. And third if you feel you need another writer, let me know and i'll gladly try to help write some fresh ideas.

I really liked the choice of watch, instead of the gold drips you might want to try some of the orange apple barrel paint heavily thinned with water it at least used to dry super chalky when you did that an should make a nice effect for rust that has been ground into the fabric though it might take a few passes if you thin it enough.

Great video and some solid ways to make a costume on the cheap. Thanks for sharing Anthony!

Great tips!!!! One thing I thought about was the clearance racks in the women's section...sometimes a pleather blouse turned around looks completely different when on a man (of course you have to go to the big lady sizes). The one place you showed in the video is a prime spot for $2 clearance stuff that is odd enough to be sci-fi. Like always Great video man! I can't wait to see the short when it is done

This outfit looks so cool that I think I'm going to find something similar for one of my OC's avatars in Second Life. I love the style and tend to wear similar looks both in the virtual world and IRL. My outfits aren't quite as scrungy, though, fortunately lol.

Years ago, at a Halloween party, a guy had a " deep space explorer" outfit that looked believable...that cost nothing to make. Old clothes, fabric paint his wife had, stuff found around his farm, and so on.
Took some time, but it made a costume that looked like someone who spent time prospecting in other worlds...
Didn't the Apollo missions have duct tape? There's probably duct tape on the ISS..

I'm pretty sure duct tape was invented specifically for use in space.

Watched last night just to "relax " my brain.
I got to try that stencil t-shirt trick
