What if Naofumi was the Legendary Angel Hero?
A counterpart to the Demon Hero What-If, drawing on the more unexplored territory of angelic beings. Seems like a rather barebones topic until you start digging into it more and more and finding out what pop culture has done with the idea and where it draws inspiration from. For instance, biblical angels are kind of divorced from humanity, to the point where they sound more like something out of cosmic horror than would be expected thousands of years ago. There's also the hierarchy of angels, the purviews of their jurisdictions, and of course their powers and abilities; flight is usually a given, but being capable of nuking an entire city tends to get glossed over in favor of healing or protection, so there's plenty of room to work with in terms of Naofumi's background, abilities and personality.

If you're referring to Tsukimichi... I'd kind of have to argue against that less on the grounds of it being uninteresting and more that Makoto is more of a mage than an archer, even if he incorporates archery into his casting and fighting style.
