No one said this before, so I will be the first in history to do so. A very accurate caricature of Todd Rundgren, the genius who knows how to save the world better than you.
I can't help but to smile listening to this. Possibly the most narcissistic song ever recorded and it is just fabulous. Oh and this remaster sounds amazing! I have never heard this so clean.
Mok has been an icon since I was a wee lad. So rarely do you get a effeminate villain who is threatening both you life and to steal your girl. Mok and the Goblin King have the same energy.
Oh, you have no idea how happy this makes me! I have absolutely loved this movie since i was a kid...even preordered the 1st print Special Edition DVD release from Unearthed Films. In the discussion board they mentioned how disappointed they were that they couldn't release the soundtrack as a part of the package, so any independent efforts to clean up and/or compile these gems is cause for joy!
Oh thank you SO much for working on this! I've been wanting to share this and other gems from "Rock & Rule" on my radio show FOREVER but the only version I've been able to find of this awesome track was in a state that I wasn't about to inflict on my listeners lol so thank you again! Amazing work!
this song might have the least exposure of all of them in the movie itself, but this is my favorite of all of them :) whenever _Rock & Rule_ comes up among me and my friends, particularly the songs, i usually go "Triumph! Triumph in the glory, triumph in the glory of me!" separately, "Witness the triumph and glory of me" became something that i decided would figure into the self-aggrandizing catchphrase of a possible narcissist superhero known as "the Legendary Abdominal Man" who's more concerned about showing off his six-pack than (for example) saving people from the burning building right in front of him XDDDDD
He didn't think this through at all well, did he? If all his fans get eaten, who's going to attend the NEXT concert? That was why Insane Clown Posse canceled their Gathering of the Juggalos in 2020, for God's sake.
This is easily the most 'up-his-own-ass' villian song of all time and makes me love Mok even more than I did when I saw the movie.

Imagine Rock & Rule video game and this playing on Game Over screen.

This is one of the most narcissitic songs I've ever heard, lol. It's great.
This would perfectly describe how Donald Trump thinks of himself.
@@peterkrug4124 I was wondering when someone was going to shoehorn political comments in here...
@@gallibon1319 Not really shoehorned when it's true. The movie is about good and evil, and Republicans are evil. Triggered?
@@peterkrug4124I've been thinking that exact thing for YEARS! LOL
@@peterkrug4124 Hows the Hawaii Relief Fund coming along?
Are we all gonna sleep on the fact that the OP's username is Ziggy

Possibly unintended irony, this is easily the best song in the movie.
80's rock for those 70's and 80's kids

You can feel the bass kick in your prostate if you turn this song up too far
Woah, sounds brand new to me. Guess I can put my Rock & Rule restored album premiere in the bin lol
Would love to still hear your attempt!
It would still be nice to hear yours, any contributions to the Rock and Rule album restorations are always nice to see and hear.
Thanks for remastering my theme song! All of these remasters are pristine.

I love this song so so much.
this song exceeded my expectations
The ego 😆 I love it.
Whoah this is so clean.
THIS SOUNDS AMAZING!!! I haven't heard this song sound this good, thank you for restoring it!!
I feel the live performance or music video, that Mok did, was very gospel themed.
Love from a SaberSpark and Vaush fan!
This sounds great! :)

LOL, I never thought on that.
Great song well done
I think this guy might have a _slight_ ego problem.
i would kill to own this album
the music quality is great, but reminds me Mok sings so.....mediocrely lmao
This isn't Lou Reeds best, no
That's why his show did not sell out
This probably was a 3am recording while he was recovering from a mad hangover. He starts trying at 1:59.
@@ZiggyCashmere He sings it with so much gusto, though. He sells it perfectly.
This came right at the end of the period where Lou still kind of actually tried to sing instead of just doing talk singing.
