I hear that getting parts in Ireland or the UK is a nightmare. A bike with parts hard to source is a huge problem.. Can anyone relate who has a kymco or debunk this?

I was revering to the new C400X from BMW. Here in South Africa, the Kymco was launched shortly after BMW announced the C400X locally, and it is priced better than the German.
It looks well. Both glove boxes lock when the steering lock is applied It has just one usb charger in the left side. As an owner with less than 100km now on the bike good God the vibration is unbearable on the groin. The seat is of poor quality and strangely shaped and made. The App noodoe is lacking proper search abilities. As for night driving lights nee more distance a little on the weak side. I've owned over 30 motorcycles and scooters. And Kymco doesn't inspire me to be a loyal customer. Anyone who says is good is lying for profit to blog etc or never owned or rode good bikes or scooters... No matter what never buy without a test ride

No, this version has ABS. The 300 G-Dink is available in South Africa in a non-ABS version.
ABS is Standard on the S Model .
I Own a 2016 Kymco People GTI 300 & it also come with ABS .
