Great. Now, if they just priced it reasonably (materials and labor x 3 for a great vs. obscene profit margin), say, $1,000 instead of $5,000, we'd be all set. It is this type of gouging, in my opinion, that allows foreign, usually Asian competitors, to clean our clocks. And then instead of fixing the problem, we whine about foreign competition taking our jobs.
aluminum pontoons are expensive, plastic would be way cheaper i thought and has a lot goin for it. but i was wrong. but man do i like the plastic and its just what my houseboat needs. and they come with strakes. my houseboat is 28' long and has 1963 pontoons they sit very low in the water. but i can dream.
i would also need a transome to raise my motor up a mile. id like to get a look at something like that
I see that the boat y’all installed on was a 20’. What hp was on the pontoon? Did y’all echoed any results from that pontoon?

Yeah that cool, I gotta 16’ pontoon n I put twin 350hp black Max merc’s on it. It came with a 50hp so I took that off n mounted to the front to use as a trolling motor 😳😳🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
