Those one-of-one projects in the shop are always the ones you're most proud of. I'm very interested in seeing the rest of this process as you continue the build. I'm wondering if you will have trouble getting the control software you need to run that configuration though. As you said Deere does not offer any exact emerge planters in the 15 row 15 inch configuration. Agrivision will certainly be able to help assign the addresses to the row unit controllers I'm just not sure you will be able to build your configuration in seed star 4. Very interested in seeing the rest of the project though. I think trimming off the 3x7 front tubes would make that bar look very clean when it's all done

Thank you for watching and taking time to comment ... the computer is set up for seed star 4 now ... and the software is loaded for a 15 row ..all apart of the PUK kit..... I think it will work out pretty good ... especially for a second soybean planter ...

Do you still have your 1795? That was a sweet planter. You have to be one of the most intelligent guys on here on this Deere equipment. You have a top notch operation there. Keep up the good work!

@@Blackearthexcavationandtiling I was wondering why you were building this little beast. Will you even use the markers? Is this something your doing to help out a newer guy? I always say, even if your planting 4-500 acres, put the best their is on your planter. The payback is huge.
You can’t beat a planter build man. Thanks.

I believe it’s the 1785 that lifts up and pivots we have the 1780 newer model of what you got wish it went narrow transport and very back heavy tool bar we got the dry fert box on front great planter

1745 lifts and pivots ... 1785 is identical to what's in the video .... yes, for sure, lots of negative tongue weight - but the ccs system will help with that, but not eliminate it ....

You can order anything from DEERE and get credits for stuff they leave off because you don’t want it. For example, I could replace my old DB120’s turned 90’s with no row units, which does not offer exact emerge on the 20” row spacing, and put on the EM row units myself, or have the dealer install.

I’m wanting to put a bean planter together also but I’m wanting a lift and rotate similar to a Kinze or 1745. Plan to pull it with a 4430 so most likely won’t be interested in high speed but I’m watching to see what I can learn to use for myself from your build.

What would happen if all electronic programs shut down. Now this is just a question that I'm throwing out there how can the modern-day Farm survive. What is your thoughts for the younger generation that don't know how to start planting corn without a computer. I know a couple operators that cannot plant corn without a computer. Or spray.
