Paint job looks great! Can't wait to see it done, and in the field. Always been an 8 row fan myself. I remember the first 8 row I ran back in 1975. We pulled it with a 4020 narrow front with duels. Sounded sweet with straight pipe, and M&W turbo!
I really like how you set up the platform and staircase. Back right up to the seed tender and not have to duck under the conveyor belt when getting up on the platform. Now I'm wondering if a guy could flip the platform around on a 1770 and build a ladder going forward on the tongue
Thank you! .... for sure! And it's quicker to access from the tractor seat this way ... I just didn't want to have to work on row units under a stairway ...
thank you for taking the time to make planter series . i have been thinking of doing this for the last year. i am glad to see yours coming to life. i really enjoy your channel you say it like it is. we need more people to stand up and be heard. best of Luck on build.
That's not the first time I've heard this.... I'm probably shadow banned ... thank you for the compliment! .. hope all is well - always good to hear from you!
This will be an 8/15 planter .... 8 rows corn (30 inch row) - drop the innerplants for 15 row soybeans (15 inch) ..... we can use it for corn and soybeans - but probably just do more soybeans with it
just a comment from the peanut gallery. But shouldn't those tires be swapped around and have the tread going backwards? Like a pull type sprayer tires are?
She's looking awesome my friend! Maybe you should start building planters and selling them.
Thank you very Much! 😁
Could make a living on rebuilding tractors and planters! Nice work.

Looking factory.👍
That's the goal... thank you for the compliment ☺️

Just a question, since thoughs aren't drive tires, shouldn't they be on backward like combine rears?
You could ..although I don't like the way they look when they are backwards ...ultimately it doesn't matter though
How many rows will that planner plant so are you gonna use a separate planter for your corn just curious

It's ultimately makes so no difference... I personally don't care for the way they look when they are on backwards
how many row is this planter going to be
15 .... it's a 8 row innerplant (8 for corn or 15 on 15" space for soybeans)
