The Game of Life pattern acorn evolves in 2D space x 1D time

It is an evolution of the classic Conway's game of life pattern named "acorn" in a 2D space x 1D time. The view is centered on the z-axis. This evolution permits appreciate better how the chaotic regions expand and stabilize while complex patterns emerge.
