The after-credits for season 2 showed Yanagida in a wheel chair with Delilah behind him (assuming that she’s the one pushing him around). Yanagida basically told her that she’s going to be helping him until he gets better and yeah you know where it leads next.

I'm honestly impressed that she survived after being shot in the side 6 times with 9mm (yes, I counted the bullets).
I like how later on when we see they're a couple, she's pushing him in a wheelchair. He got stabbed and yes that's bad. But but he emptied half a magazine into her...

Yanigada almost fulfilled the girl’s wish for death himself, almost killed Noriko with those first couple of shots at Delilah.

GATE is a series that has a lot going for it, it certainly sticks out against other Isekai series as it doesn't (usually) follow the usual tropes associated with the genre and has an interesting story.
"You remind me of a slave i knew. Her name is Tole" and that is never brought up again by either of these characters. And i honestly feel bad for Tole. She became prince jackass's slave to save her people, only to be screwed over by said jackass. Now all her kind believe she is a traitor while she plots her revenge to kill the prince and watch the world burn.
wow in manga Delilah join the JSDF and she look so cool and so badass and when she train even more in millitary she got stronger than before

Imma just chalk him missing to his bad aim, as actually dodging a bullet would not only take near-instantaneous reaction times but a body durable enough to withstand the literal hundreds of Gs you'll be putting it through and fast enough to react to said bullet being fired.
People have survived grenade blast point blank plus they are a bout twenty feet from each other so it is possible but still
Have you tried shooting traditional sights in low light conditions with no backlighting against your irons with both eyes open? That actually requires quite a bit of skill and we invented tritium irons for this very reason.

According to the wiki she apparently moves not fast enough to dodge the bullets, just fast enough to avoid his aim... and to be fair, given how little combat experience the JSDF actually has, I don't blame him for missing.
@@dfmrcv862 Not to mention that she's moving fast enough to be able to jump off the goddamn ceiling, making it even harder for someone used to dealing with humans to be able to properly track her at close range. Also, while we the audience can see things properly, it should probably be really dark from their perspective, especially in an unlit overhang.
Not to mention that when she decided to run straight at him instead, she was able to get behind him before he could even get one shot off. So either she's just fast enough to legitimately aim-dodge, his reflexes and aim aren't top notch due to being a relatively inexperienced paper-pusher, the darkness (and the sudden illumination for the bumrush scene) was notably hampering his aim and reflexes, or some combination of the above could be used to explain this scene without too much suspension of disbelief.
EDIT: Also, he had to be extra careful since they were in the middle of friendly territory so any missed shots could hit her extremely nearby target or some other innocent bystanders/JSDF Agent behind her.

Like... seriously, ignoring the fact she's a slave being abused (the anime makes her a bit less sympathetic than in the manga by rushing things) and she WANTS both revenge and an out which the JSDF should provide in any normal circumstance... yet they never do.
Okay, she seems to be on Zorzal's side, but 1) they have a man on the inside who can kidnap her at any moment, same as their Special Forces. She's supposedly responsible for ordering this assassination attempt (manga later reveals she only greenlit it, Zorzal planned it out and ordered it) so maybe... don't let her do that?
and 2) She's both a slave and a vital part of Zorzal's warfighting capability as she keeps encouraging him to take more and more suicidally destructive options in the vain hope the JSDF just obliterates him and the empire in order for her to take her vengeance!
I feel any tactician would have at least have her taken away the second they rescued the Japanese citizen if anything to make a point about how our world views slavery, and if not then, then certainly when she became an advisor.
I find Tyuule's story to be one of the most interesting parts of the series, personally, but the more I think about it the less sense it makes for the JSDF to ignore her.

The bunny warriors are one of the strongest beings in the terms of ability on the other side of the Gate.
They are far behond of a human abilities in speed, reaction and movement.
Even they can be rangers inside the military standards, evading shoots and giving a good fight to a train soldier

she is not human so her stregth speed agility stamina healing durability and endurance are much higher than a normal human so thats why she healed faster than him

1:50 fight should have ended right there. knives/swords are very good at close quarters; pistols are less than optimal answers, esp. lightly armored. bunny girl should have pressed the attack; her sword moves faster than his body and she's presumably well trained/ somewhat superhuman (the ceiling jump), so opening a large gash in his neck or splitting his skull is well within her capabilities.
I think the dude should’ve been slashed, and the MPs take the shot instead. It would’ve made more sense since he’s already been injured.
Okay, so I know Yanigada is a champ for surviving that machete to the guts, but Delilah just took SIX gunshots to the lower back…

Their anatomy is probably different than ours making them more physically resilient.
First Lieutenant Yanigada Akira knew from the way Delilah had stabbed him that he would only have a few moments to act before severe blood loss would incapacitate and kill him.
It may have taken him a few split seconds to gather his strength to avenge himself and protect a civilian from harm, but he persevered until he finally fell to the ground, close to death.
Can we talk about Noriko's wish to die? Honestly, I find that so stupid. You were just told you can go home, eventually (for whatever reason she's staying in the Special Region). I don't know if phone signals can still work while you're in a freakin' different world where they had to set up the tech stuff, but if your parents haven't responded, then try again later. OF COURSE THEY'RE NOT ANSWERING YOU, WHO KNOWS? You just need to wait, aren't you forgetting about this Hiroki, too?
You misunderstand, her Parents died, and she just found that out, that call was like a last attempt to deny that. Also yes, Phone signals do work, they set up lines for that.

Everyone is asking how she survived... Contrary to what the media tells you, gunshots actually don't do THAT much damage.They punch roughly a finger sized hole through whatever they hit until they have expended all their kinetic energy then they stop. Some bullets are designed to expand and tear a bigger hole, called hollow points, however their use is prohibited in warfare. Her sword on the other hand is designed to tear as large of an opening as possible. Its wound cavity is very long, thin, and fairly wide making it damage alot of tissue while simultaneously making it very difficult to fix by surgery. Not to mention, when they collapsed, it likely twisted causing even more damage. Gunshot wounds are actually somewhat easy to close up in surgery as long as not too much time has passed, most gunshot victims survive they can get to a hospital within about an hour and slow the bleeding. The benefit to firearms is their ability to inflict damages to internal organs at ranges exceeding melee combat, Yes some gunshots are fatal, but it really depends on shot placement, IE a direct hit to the heart for instance..
Bruh, I've seen pictures of victims in warfare who got hit by M4 rifles, and it's much worse than the bolo slash wounds that we've done to the pigs we roast for Christmas here in my home country.

I don’t think this is right.
They begin to expel kinetic energy as soon as impact happens. This cause the wound to “balloon” in size at a multiple of the velocity and the mass of the projectile.
Adding in, this quick expansion and closing of this wound channel causes air to be violently absorbed in creating a vacuum, just to have an exit channel “dissolve” the vacuum creating a “cavitation bubble” or Inertial cavitation or something idk; on collapse causes an “explosion” acoustic shock wave with visible light due to vapor gasses going kaput
From that distance, it would be a “contact wound” where gunpowder is expelled into the wound as well as gasses from the round’s expulsion, further expanding the wound cavity causing massive damage.
Depending on how the bullet is made; let’s assume he was using just ball nose and nothing special, even that would expand, or mushroom, a great deal on impact.

No idea why people surprised why she survived. It was 9mm rounds hitting non lethal spot (could even just be grazing her back based on the placement of the sun) while they were in a military base that has a hospital close by. People usually die when bullets hit something important or by blood loss if treatment doesn’t happen quickly.
I mean he mag-dumped her point blank. It's technically survivable, we could ASSUME EVERY shot was grazing, but the chances are not good. Plus you are not accounting for cavitation.

Why didn't they go after Tyuule the second they found out about her?
The manga and LN sort of give a reason that Tyuule didn't specifically order the attack and is also only slightly manipulating things from the shadows (as in all she can do is encourage Zorzal's self-destructive acts and slightly filter the information he receives... slightly) so they had no real reason to go after her specifically... apparently.
I mean, they already have special forces in the capital, and in the manga and Light Novel, Hitoshi Furuta is interacting with Tyuule almost daily.
Tyuule makes it clear MULTIPLE TIMES in the manga and LN that she wants OUT, cries about how helpless she feels, pretty much tells him at one point to pick her up and steal her away- literally just get her OUT of there... but they never do! Heck, maybe because I've only read the wiki and the manga isn't fully caught up yet, but despite Hitoshi apparently "developing feelings for her", he never does anything to help her or even bring her to his authorities, which sure, you can blame on the garbage JSDF tacticians (who the hell invades the capital and leaves without capturing the guy killing your people????) but I don't recall him ever telling Yanagaida "Hey, Lieutenant, this bunny girl that ordered or facilitated the attack that resulted in you getting stabbed and also getting a hot bunny girlfriend is here and she seems pretty important. Maybe we should capture her and keep her out of Zorzal's reach?"

Why? She's a valuable target as Zorzal considers her a genuine advisor and even if she isn't coming up with Zorzal's strategies, she is certainly encouraging the most destructive ones *literally so the JSDF get off their rear and kill the guy already!* Take her away and Zorzal may get more competent to some degree, but you already have troops that can capture him! Why not do so???
I mean, in the end, Tyuule kills him after the JSDF fails to do so... also gets killed by Zorzal as he's dying...
I wish Gate had focused less on the harem bits and more on the actual war and tactics of the modern world and the ancient world, cause stuff like slavery was very much a thing, and the JSDF don't exactly look all that great when they see it happening in front of them and only focus on liberating enslaved Japanese citizens.

There's a pretty interesting Gate fanfic where she plays a central role. Called "The Fight We Chose" if you're interested.
The Gate opens in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963... One hour before JFK was supposed to be assassinated. Thanks to the Gate opening, he survives, and the US goes into the special region instead of getting involved in Vietnam.
The story changes quite a bit as the Americans have very different tactics compared to the JSDF (as in, the US actually wants to topple the Empire) and Tyuule is thrown into the forefront pretty quickly as her interests align with the Americans'.
@@dfmrcv862 thank you. I've read up to date on that fanfic, and think it's pretty good. I actually like her character quite a bit, and feel she deserves better than what she gets in canon. I'm hoping they let her live in the manga and move on with Furuta.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Lord Jesus died in our places personally to take the death punishment that sin deserves and then resurrected by the power of God. Believe this and you will have eternal life and nothing to fear.
