Hearing only RB4 and Riffmaster guitars worked for this game was sad, but the fact someone already came up with a convenient workaround in such a short amount of time is amazing. Now I have a reason to install Fortnite on my PC.
I just got joytokey and mapped my guitar buttons to keyboard presses and it works great

It works fine with a raphnet adaptor but bugs out using Wiitar as its registering the tilt and wiitar makes 2 controllers connect so it gets confused. If you are using a wii guitar you need a raph

Yeah still not convinced it completely works, my Xbox 360 Xplorer doesn't work and neither does my Wiitar with raphnet adapter. Huge props though, clearly working for a lot of the community.
worked with my xplorer, just a bit of input latency. with enough tweaking should be able to work better

I really want to get me a Riff Master just for a normal clone hero, but I will definitely take advantage of using my RB1 wii guitar on Fortnite now

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME BRO How do I do this with JUST a keyboard everyone says to hold down strum and hodl down the previous notes but it only plays when I hit shift and the note at the same time (Basicly making it impossible) No controls I change really fix the issue Im currently using 12345 and Shift for strum Ive swapped to ASD JL with shift aswell
my only real gripe is that overdrive doesn't work on my PS3 guitar because the only buttons besides the frets are start and select butttons and obv you can't tilt

I got it working! Very fun very glitch at the moment but still fun! I just can't use my overdrive lol
what setting do you have on the highway speed?

turn your graphics lower, fortnite is not stable on high graphics even in the best of pcd
@@oskargame bro i have turned them to minimum but im still getting stutters and stuff
Make sure you're using fullscreen and gsync if your monitor supports it, but yea, Fortnite is just... really poorly optimized. It doesn't like my RX 7800XT either. Also, loading ALWAYS causes frame drops for me.
Does not work with an XB360 Xplorer guitar just a heads up.
It does on pc you just need an application called joystick I think, that’s what I use on my pc

@@Cobalt985 Generally yes, especially if you build it yourself. But if you just download the prebuilt executable there could always be something added that's not in the open source repository.
