Great video that shows a lot of humility. This is why you’re the best source of information for this game. Thank you very much and keep up the good work.
Hi Thorrk, thanks for the video. As always great input. Based on this new information have you made changes to your list? I assume 1 Restock is now mandatory in the sideboard. I'm currently testing 3 Sparks Main with just 1 Vanguard Ace.
Yes my most recent list is in the video: "HOW I WON THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS ONLINE TOURNAMENT" No please don't put restock in your midrange deck, restock is really a tech for the control mirror. If you play against control and you've reached the point where your opponent is using vigilance to mill you, you have already lost the game, and your opponent can simply play vigilance at the right time to mill your restock anyway.
Spark of rebellion is another card I play out of aspect in every Luke deck because 4 still leaves enough resources open for a Luke's saber. I love spark of rebellion.
Wait, so you discard the Restock before choosing the 4 cards to pull out and put on bottom? Seems weird to me.. from the text it seems like you choose 4 that are already discarded before discarding the Restock card. So you’d have to have already discarded a 2nd Restock in order to pull this loop off, no?
Yep. Restock is officially a viable sideboard card now that control is running rampant and using Vigilance. And yes Restock hits the discard pile before its effect happens so it does indeed replenish itself. Official ruling on that.

@@Thorrk_THT ya that’s surprising to me.. after doing some more thorough research, it appears the official QuickStart rules to the game on FFG state that you play an event, use its ability, then place it in the discard pile. The comprehensive rules tho, state that you play an event, place it in the discard pile, then resolve its ability. It just doesn’t feel natural or intuitive to me to discard an event before resolving its effects. But knowing this is how it works, perhaps I can use other cards in similar ways as well! Excited to see what Set 2 brings in this regard!
@@Thorrk_THT So what happens to the card Bamboozle? If you discard events before resolving it’s effects, then you would never have to pay its resource cost according to the rules. A cunning card was discarded, so it would always be free to play.. no?
@@mjackels1377 from the rules: "Playing a Card consists of the following 5 steps in order, explained in detail below: Declare intent, Check restrictions, Determine cost(s), Pay cost(s), and Put card into play/discard. After playing the card, resolve any “When Played” abilities on the card and any other abilities that triggered while playing and/or resolving the card, including Ambush and Shielded." The text at the beginning of bamboozle is a modification of the cost which happens during the determine cost part. If you discarded bamboozle, then you wouldn't be able to put it in the discard pile as the last step.
restock doesn’t make you un millable, it makes you mill resistant though. if the other guy runs a few of them also, they will restock the vigilance and smash you twice on the same turn with it and put all of it in the discard pile at once lol.
What do you think about Jedha City in Sabine Yellow? I know Unplayable recently did a deck tech and they were screaming it's praises. I think both bases have merit?
Both are viable options but I think I much prefer a 30 HP base even for this deck. And Sabine yellow experts like Ryan from Rebel Resource would back me up on that.
Thank you for another awesome video, learn a lot from your videos and take on cards!
I’ve found out of aspect overwhelming barrage to be really strong in a lot of decks.

Really excited to hear what you think about the spoiled cards. I’m wondering if ma clounkey and Tech deserve spots in the han green deck
Soon

Totally agree, Never used any other base than 30 HP.

Great video! Insightful.
Restock makes you unmillable only if you don't get your own Restocks milled...
Correct yes very important !
I didn’t know Restock could tuck itself! That’s key!
Cats out of the bag now…
Restock'll be much better when Mill becomes a thing, but right now, I'd rather put higher Tempo cards out instead!

nah, SWU is weird compared to other games. the Restock is already in the discard pile so you CAN target it
That's the rule the card is placed in the discard before the effect is resolved

Yea, Syndicate lackeys is a great removal with it's ambush and 5 power
Totally agree on Syndicate and Vigilance! I think you still underestimate The Emperor's Legion a bit.
Not really I put it in a lot of my Green/black deck
Restock+vigillance is so powerful, that I suppose they will and grey "vanquish card from discard pile" in the future
It's good but only in the control mirror.
@@Thorrk_THTdefinitely why it's left in against aggro!

true
So every deck in the game might as well throw 1 copy of restock in their sideboard.
