I have a nearly identical '97 W210 with the exception that it has 220K miles on it. Everything Dean says about the model is true. Very well made, very comfortable and easy to maintain provided you believe in preventative maintenance. If not for already having one, I'd be bidding on this one in an instant!
That is a diamond , a real find, a needle in a hay stack. Absolutely beautiful. One of the best cars I ever owned. I sold it with 220k and it still drove like new.
Not so well made if mounts and gasket were replaced at 29k. Have a Japanese car, same year, 3 times the mileage and none of those things have been replaced on it, still performing good. German engineers and manufacturers should go to Japan to learn how is done.
