These “abuse” allegations were investigated by child services back then, and when Angelina complained that social services found no abuse and wanted it further investigated the Police and FBI also found no abuse.
She lives to strike out at Brad Pitt. Most people can see right through her and her intentional alienation of her children from their father

His 'good guy' persona is entrenched in our collective consciousness. Police are not immune to that. Conversely, people in general don't warm to Angelina.
Sad, that Angelina is a known to have been diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder was permitted to have custody of the children, and use parental alienation to destroy the child parent relationship. She is a deeply disturbed woman.
IMO - Is that an official documented diagnosis? U..S. HIPPA compliance rules are strict, so if Angelina did not state this disorder publicly, it is considered speculation.

I’m sorry but she acted in a movie with Billy Bob Thornton who was at the time in a long term relationship and engaged to Laura Dern and he married Angelina Jolie without even breaking it off with Laura Dern first. She then went in to do the same thing to Jennifer Aniston. She is a very manipulative person and she is manipulating this situation too.
Got to agree with this. I read a biography of her and at least when she was younger it appears she had a personality disorder her behaviour was so aberrant. Got to wonder about the kind of men who are attracted to that. Her and BIlly Bob used to wear little vials of each other's blood around their necks. This is the kind of nonsense goth teens who are deeply disturbed get up to. Imagine someone like that adopting all those disadvantaged and vulnerable little children. smh

Brad is from MO & I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it’s vastly different from LA and spoiled rich kids. He was likely trying to get them to behave, make a point or teach life lesson. I’m not buying it. When I was a teen I thought my parents were the worst, but now I count my blessings

She wants to now be seen as Mother Earth while adopting kids for fashion accessories. There staff came out many tears ago on how nuts she is. Being raised by that kind of mother must truly mess with your head. I feel sorry for those kids.

Exactly what I can to say. Look at the timeline this was posted. I believe AJ positioned herself as a victim in the divorce despite her being the one to blindside Pitt with it. She wanted him fine and sole custody and bt god did she do and say everything she could to get it. Parental alienation is bang on.

FYI.. Jolie sold the interest in the vineyard against prior agreements not to do so. Pitt was supposed to have first right of refusal if she sold. That's why they are in court over it.

The way I understand it, Brad worked hard and made the vineyard quite profitable and there was a deal to buy her out of her investment in the business. After some court decision didn't go her way, she sold her portion of it to a Russian Oligarch to twist the knife deeper into Pitt. She seems quite vindictive at this point. I went through a divorce with a similar behaving spouse. No where near the scale of theirs of course, but the attitude is similar. Not getting her way and want him to hurt for it instead of just making a clean break and being an adult.
Very hypocritical she is a UN ambassador and then takes money from a Russian Oligarch.

I know two different people that moved to LA a decade apart. Both met famous people but they both claimed Brad Pitt was the coolest, kindest, and most genuine celebrity they met.
But how do we know how he acted in private when he was drunk?

I posted similar. I worked with many celebrities in the 90’s and all said he was amazing. Really nice guy and easy going. Melissa Everidge even said “If I was ever going to change teams, it would only be for Brad Pitt” True story and she knows him really well.
I don’t doubt that Angelina is highly intelligent and knows how to play people and play the system. Manipulative. Spoiled.

Unfortunately, people seem to get tangled in abusive relationships. There is anger, so there is fear. Family fears for their security if they dare to leave. Statistics show that victims try to leave around 7 times before they successfully are able to break it off. There's also an addictive component. Abusers are bad, but sometimes they are good. Like slot machines are addictive, so are relationships give alietory rewards.
People stay in bad relationships all the time.
Angelina has been very mentally unstable in the past. She was very close to her mother, who was very lenient. She ran amok and was heavy into drugs and self harm. She and Billy Bob famously wore vials of each other's blood. She famously kissed her brother passionately on stage. She doesn't talk to her Dad, and I think it's very likely she disrespects the role of fathers in a child's life. She has reinvented herself into a tiger mother with monastic tendencies. I don't think Brad was allowed to have a say in the children's upbringing. He was probably very frustrated, and perhaps that's why his drinking escalated. I don't believe he is anything like what Jolie says, no one else ever says anything bad about him. The kids take their mother's side bc she is a very devoted mother, but cutting their Dad out of their lives is not fair. He hasn't drunk or taken drugs for 7 years and deserves to see his children. I do not support Jolie in her attempts to keeo punishing him.
No peeps, most do leave, if they have somewhere safe to go, and a way to make their own money. There are some that stay, without that happenstance, but they are few. Nicole Brown Simpson, stayed for the kids, but realized that they were not protected by her doing so. Once she had an escape plan and lawyer that promised she could sue for divorce, and alimony, she was gone. Abuse is a cycle. Those that get into abusive relationships, were more than likely, abused. So it may seem like it’s not that bad, because it’s a norm in their life, until it goes too far. I just wonder why it wasn’t in the divorce filings, or custody battle, until now. I’m sensing shady on both sides here.

I will want to see proof of this. Children need to side with the parent they live with as a survival measure. Sadly they are susceptible to manipulation by a vindictive ex. It’s a very common occurrence.

It's a weird one. I don't know what to make of it. I don't think that child actually lives at home, I think he stays at school and still dosnt see Brad. Kids growing up with alcoholics is not good. None of us know what is going on in people's homes, never mind when there are active addictions. It's fucked up even if you are an adult being around addicts.

My first husband was a addict and it became very toxic...I wouldn't want children to suffer adults' problems and someone seriously mentally unstable. That's why I aborted. Don't regret it for a second, he'd have rights to my address if we had had a child, even from jail.

You have to love the fact that this “altercation” took place on one of their private jets. Have you seen these children ? No one has abused a hair on their head. I’d be very careful reporting this stuff as fact. Teenagers hate one or both of their parents, when parents split it’s very common for the toxic parent to turn he children against the other. I’ll bet he regrets the day he left Jennifer Anniston. Jennifer said at the time that Brad was a simple, uncomplicated person and that Jolie was way too troubled and difficult for a guy like him to handle. I believe her.

Also kids can really be terrible too. These days people see what we use to consider normal raising of children and normal discipline as abuse.
I grew up in a town neighboring Brad s, then as an adult moved to Ca. Whats considered normal parenting in the Midwest is viewed as "abusive" by most Californian's, because most CA parents adhere to lassez faire parenting..basically not a shred of discipline. Thats how angelina was raised and (and look what a mess it made of her at an early age but I digress) she would have been appalled at not letting the kids run wild..I read stories of them drawing with crayons on walls of hotel rooms; Angelina saw it as "free expression, no big deal..we can pay for the damage" and Brad attempted to point out that they need to learn that its not acceptable behavior to trash places..basic culture clash plus Angelina's sense of narcissism and entitlement, plus they have fallen out of the spotlight..gotta keep that attention flowing..

Pax is still very young and mum has custody. Parental disputes can be very damaging to the children, they are easily manipulated. It took me a long time to see that I was being used by my mother to punish my father.

Yeah, my dad and butted heads a lot through my teens and had I been asked when I was 14-20yo, I would’ve undoubtedly said some unfavorable things about him. However, over the course of like 21-26ish, those feelings changed drastically, and now in my 30s, it’s almost the complete opposite feeling. Sure, he could be a bit of an ass about things when I was younger, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized a lot, if not all, of that was a direct result of my own defiant teenage behavior. Honestly, looking back now, as much as I thought he was too overbearing back then, I almost feel like he wasn’t overbearing enough and could’ve been a little more strict…

This could be a case of parental alienation as well. I have experienced this and no matter what an amazing parent you are, the manipulation of the other parent causes so much damage to the psyche of the child. I guess, time will tell.

If you are being honest with yourself you would be mature enough to accept that your son clearly wasn’t much of an emotional support to your grandkid. He lives in LA, mother in UK. My son is not perfect it’s true, my grandson is autistic spectrum. He went to live with him at age 18 his mother couldn’t cope with him. My son tried everything to help him (nearly had breakdown himself through upset over being unable to help) His son refused any therapy, offers of work, wanted to be an Andrew Tate webcam man :-(

He ended up being ‘victim’ as mother happy to have this story, although a lot of what he said was a created narrative in order to not take responsibility. She would not speak to my son to have 2 adult parents finding a grown up solution in harmony to help him. I’m pretty aware of dynamics and can see it clearly and it’s v sad. Hoping he’ll become more honest with himself and take accountability (which my son does, he feels awful about not being able to find a healthy way through to help him)
And his mother has border line personality disorder btw, which he can see as he was in treatment for ARFED whilst in her care. Hence me saying about damage done previously

My father is a narcissist, has never really cared about his kids, and there is much I am still working through.
But a lot of my teenage anger toward and hatred of him was really driven by my mother’s manipulations. It was her fury more than it was mine. That’s what this sounds like.

As the ex-wife of a high functioning alcoholic who got along with everyone and held the same job for 30 years I can't begin to explain how vastly different it was behind closed doors. Angelina may be crazy, I don't know, but that doesn't mean that Brad might not have been an angry drunk too. If he was & the kids witnessed it, they may have feelings of fear & anger towards him. As far as her selling her part of the vineyard, I can totally relate. I was an occasional drinker on special occasions, etc but now I despise anything to do with alcohol after it and my husband's lack of self control ruined my life. Just being around alcohol triggers horrible memories.

And the damage that can be done to kids by a parent like that, even - as you said - if the abusiveness never crosses the line to anything that would be acted upon by authorities. Just the stress and tension, having to walk on eggshells whenever that parent is around causes hypervigilance and anxiety.

I grew up with both parents being alcoholics. You carry lots of baggage. There was good day's & very bad day's. I got to forgive my mom when she was still here but my dad I was unable to tell him. I love my parents & was so thankful for them being my parents. My prayers are sent up for the whole family.
Consider that Brad was raised in a Baptist home with a very strict father.
Brad and Angelina had very different parenting styles. A. was very lenient with all those kids regarding their routines etc and Brad wanted routines when it comes to meals bed times etc.
I think she drove him nuts which is why he drank and smoked so much. Not an excuse but rather explains the situation perhaps.
Children play their parents off against each other especially when the children are not biologically ones own.
Brad was big enough to admit he made mistakes and gave up drinking and smoking. He has cleaned up his act. But Angelina still takes no responsibility at all. Not a fan of her or her acting abilities.

Brad Pitt should never have married Jolie; she's 'not all there' if you know what | mean. I highly suspect that Jolie has added to the tensions between Brad and his kids. Notwithstanding that he was/is an alcoholic, and what man wouldn't be married to someone with her personality defects, it's clear that she alienated his kids from him. I'm sure that his drinking didn't help, but his money too helped to give his kids all the advantages that they have had in life; far more than they would have had stuck in institutions as they were. I have no time for Jolie, and I was never impressed with her acting either.

I’m going to jump on the bandwagon. I do not believe this about Pitt. One of these parents is a world class weirdo and it isn’t him. Is he perfect of course not, he’s an actor. But the long standing tension in that family has almost entirely been instigated and continued by Jolie. Pitt comes from a stable loving family. Jolie comes from a scorched earth divorce and is completely alienated from her father. I feel sorry for her but to continue this sad legacy in your own children is tragic.

I agree wholeheartedly. I believe Marcheline Bertrand turned Angelina against her Father, Jon Voight. Now, Angelina is doing the same w/ the children (bio or adopted) that she had while w/ Brad. Voight is now 85 (and was fantastic as Mickey on Ray Donovan) and surely deserves Ms. Humanitarian's forgiveness by now.
Jennifer Aniston did say that Brad was missing a sensitivity chip. He did a beautiful interview with Christiane Amanpour, speaking about his alcohol use, where he said he ignored what was happening for him inside by using alcohol, and wished to face himself. Sad the children feel so alienated from him, but that is exactly what happens when people are alienated from themselves.

Reminds me when my ex tried everything to turn my daughter against me. I had caught her with another man and promptly divorced her. It was a tough time and I had to be patient for years but I just showed my daughter lots of love and never spoke badly about the ex, despite the upset that I felt inside because of her cruel antics with my daughter. Today my grown-up daughter and I have a close and loving relationship. It's as if nothing had ever happened. And the ex? I don't think about her at all. It will be tough for Brad, but I recommend he just continues to love the kids, find some peace and get on with his life. What will work out, will and what won't, won't.

Brad is fab . as an actor, and appeals on many levels … unlike his last wife , who seemingly was in charge from day 1 😩. Jolie was and is very bitter , AND had many serious issues, long before Pitt made her famous . Hard to believe he is this awful man depicted by Jolies ‘ son.
Between 16 and 22 my son called me every name possible(all bad) I gave him everything including much love. Now he is fifty. I asked him one day, why are you always saying thank you for every little thing. He said “ it’s for all the thank you’s I didn’t say when I was young” So you never know. It’s hard to imagine being a public figure and dealing with stuff like this.
I imagine I’m in the minority, but I’ve always thought Jolie was a total phony.
Is Angelina Jolie behind this attack? Or is it someone from Brad's own family unrelated to her? Angelina is clearly vindictive and you have to wonder why? I suspect that he's got plenty of negative secrets of hers that he could expose, but he never does. She seems so damaged by her own hostile relationship with her own father and perhaps she's turned that negativity towards Brad now that he's the father of her own children.
But her efforts to alienate their children from him is cruel and may backfire against her, because at some point she may realize that in doing so she wasn't just harming him, she was harming the children and even herself. What goes around comes around, and she's got her own fair share of serious problems.

Coming from a family in which alcoholism was rampant, Pitt’s alleged behavior seems pretty typical alcoholic behavior (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde). I feel for his children who lived though this and did not have a choice in the matter. Props to Jolie for making the difficult decision that she did. I hope they continue to heal.

Well, Bad Pitt gave an interview where he talked about his alcohol addiction and drug using which has been a reason which led to the end of his marriage to Angelina Jolie. He admitted that he was a bad father Angelina and all kids have been in therapy for a lang time she toll a newspaper. I find it good that Brad is sober now and changed his life. But what I find intetesting is that not Angelina called Social Services after the incident in the plane. It seems the pilot or someone from the staff decided to act after it allegedly got very violent
That is what I read as well about the plane incident. Brad was drunk and became violent on the plane toward AJ and the children and that a person on the plane also called CPS to report the incident about Brad's out of control abusive behavior.
Angelina adoppted her first child in 2001. She and Brad didn't begin dating till years later. If he never wanted adopted kids then he should've never dated her. He's no victim. He's made his choices in life.

I heard from people who met him that he was over the moon and introduced Angelina and the kids as his family. This was before the two of them officially became a couple.

If Brad’s so horrible, why’d she stay with him for over a decade while knowingly subjecting her children to such a toxic environment and abusive father? It’s not like she would have been hampered by as many of the difficult, painful, scary, and/or dangerous considerations many normal people have to face in such situations. And I’m not sure parental alienation can be ruled out.
And if her reason for staying so long was because he’d mostly been a good partner and father and it was only towards the end when his addiction had caused him to become the cruel and abusive man they’ve described, it doesn’t seem like a second chance would be that unreasonable now that he’s gotten sober. Since on the scale of unfavorable acts, I haven’t heard any claims yet that would undeniably be deserving of cutting their father out of their lives forever. But who knows, it’s possible they’re keeping those quiet. But considering the ugly public allegations they have made so far, l just finding that a little hard to believe.

It is sad that when the accusations were looked into and there was nothing to answer for then why are they trying to attack him again. It is sad that every time he get a new girl friend or something else is going on his life then these stories come up again. Sad children should not be brought into the struggles off there parents.
Unpopular opinion: Every kid should have a healthy “fear” of their parents. Not the fear of getting hit or abused, obviously. Just a little fear that’s borne of respect-when your parents shoot you “the look,” for example, when you’ve crossed a line. I don’t see that in today’s parenting. I’m sure ppl my age (gen X) know what I’m talking about. Anyone younger is probably thinking I’m a monster for even saying this. That’s fine. The kids who are out shoplifting, terrorizing the elderly or beating their peers to death have probably grown up thinking mom and dad are their friends.

Even 16 year olds don't say they hate their parents unless they have bad parents. Meaning if the parents spoil them or abuses them, either extreme will cause that behavior and bring those feelings.
This is actually not true. Teenagers will make up stories to get attention or to compete with a friend or sometimes to relate to a character in a movie or book they read. My daughter made something up about her dad that wasn't true and I have friends with kids that have done the same. I personally made some things up for attention when I was a teen. Not about my parents, but about myself. I look back and I am ashamed and don't even recognize the person I was.
Wrong. My daughter said she hated me and we had been super close up to then and after. She didn’t like being reprimanded. She was a child and acted as one
