- Hi All! Today I wanted to bring you a fun one and discuss my favorite gowns ever worn by Catherine Princess of Wales. We will be deep diving Kate Middleton's style and fashion and I can't wait to talk about all the looks! Thanks.
Catherine, Princess of Wales, GCVO (born Catherine Elizabeth Middleton; 9 January 1982) is a member of the British royal family. She is married to William, Prince of Wales, heir apparent to the British throne, making Catherine the likely next queen consort.
Born in Reading, Catherine grew up in Bucklebury, Berkshire. She was educated at St Andrew's School and Marlborough College before studying art history at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where she met William in 2001. She held jobs in retail and marketing and pursued charity work before their engagement was announced in November 2010. They married on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey. The couple's children-Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis-are second, third, and fourth in the line of succession to the British throne, respectively.
Catherine holds patronage within over 20 charitable and military organisations, including Action for Children, SportsAid, and the National Portrait Gallery. She undertakes projects through The Royal Foundation, with her charity work focusing on issues surrounding young children, addiction, and art. To encourage people to open up about their mental health issues, Catherine envisioned the mental health awareness campaign "Heads Together", launched with William and Prince Harry in April 2016. The media have called Catherine's impact on British and American fashion the "Kate Middleton effect". In 2011, 2012, and 2013, Time magazine selected her as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. On 9 September 2022, she became Princess of Wales when her husband was created Prince of Wales by his father, King Charles III.

Was waiting for this. Kate has this relaxed effortless confidence. You can tell she took advantage of all the training the palace could give her. Unlike smeg who was too good for training or google. Ok

It’s overwhelming how beautiful and elegant Catherine is! I must say, that my absolute favorite to this day is that incredible, out of this world, gobsmacking golden dress!!!!I have never been blown away by any woman in a dress as I was by seeing Catherine in that golden dress!! She looked like a goddess that had decided to grace this earth. Absolutely divine!

I am SO HERE for this!!! I love Catherine! Grace, class, and impeccable taste. She’s a loyal supportive wife-has no problem letting her husband shine because she knows her strengths.
She’s done SO much for the British Fashion industry-she stays true to British designers and knows exactly how to dress her body.
My fave is the ice blue Alexander McQueen-the necklace she wore was perfection-Queen Alexandra’s Wedding Necklace. Gorgeous piece.

Let’s face it - Catherine could wear an old feed bag and look stunning. Deep red as in the diplomatic corps dress is SO dramatic on her. I LOVE that she rewears - so thoughtful. Think the James Bond is my fave. Her grace and authenticity always shine through. ❤

What a nice palatte cleanser after all the stuff about Hank and Skank. Catherine is just beautiful. And nice to see how someone knows the basics of proper fit and undergarments and looking put together. Some might call her boring but I like that after those two.
It certainly helps that she has a model figure, but also to her credit is that she knows how to accessorize, which cuts and colors flatter her, which outfits are appropriate for the occasion and she knows her fabrics. She never chooses things that become a wrinkled disaster after 5 minutes. Good choices!

Always wonder where she keeps her clothes and who helps keep them and rotate them. I'd love that job! Curating her clothing and accessories. Keeping a record of where she wore them and keeping them in perfect condition. Well done, so nice to have something positive to enjoy.
I wonder about that too! I would love to see how that works and what kind of record keeping / organizing goes into that.
I think it is actually a great idea to keep a list in your closet of what you wear and where. There have been times that I've wondered about what I had worn somewhere. I'm the world's worst about having a favorite outfit and wearing the heck out of it. I think it would help to mix and match outfits better too. Of course not on that grand of a scale!😂

Wouldn’t it be amazing to be able to be part of the behind-the-scenes of the preparation for an event like a state dinner? How does she choose which gown and jewelry? Does she get to try on different tiaras? And how does ultimately choose which one to wear? Does Charlotte sit and watch her get ready? Idk I think it would fascinating to see what takes place to get her ready for a formal event.
There’s probably someone who keeps a record of which dress and jewels are worn, date and occasion… a lot of cataloging imo.
She has always been flawless inside and out. (The Middletons were obviously great parents, and the Wales are continuing that incredible mode.) I love all of those gowns, especially the first white cape one and the gold one. Princess Catherine is an earth angel, for sure. ❤❤❤👑🌟🌟🌟🌟

Jenny Packham's creations for The Princess of Wales are perfection. Everything about them is just flawless and they are definitely my favorites. Hard to pick one, but I'd have to choose the white State Banquet dress. She looked like a Queen. Loved it!
(Sigh.) Choosing favorites is SO hard, but I remember when I first saw that stunning green gown… it took my breath away. That, the gold dress & the blue Cinderella dress are my favorites. SHE’S SO STUNNING!!!❤️❤️❤️

The white dress she wore to the state dinner in Nov '22 was absolutely gorgeous, the gold one, the red one and the pink Vampire's Wife are all gorgeous too and she carried them all so well. I just love Catherine, being built like a super model helps but she's just so elegant, classy and regal looking (everything the ILBW is not and how she must HATE that lol) . In these last few years the Princess of Wales has really blossomed into a beautiful woman and I'm here for it.
Alexander McQueen is my all-time favorite designer. The exhibit from the Met Gala that was themed after him was so beautiful i cried.

I love non-M posts!!! It’s good to accentuate the positive - in this case, it’s Catherine. Yay! More like this, please! My favourites of her gowns are the ones that make her look regal rather than like a celebrity. She’s a proven expert at choosing red carpet gowns, many of which you showed in this video but her royal gowns are just wonderful. I share your love for the white and silver gown, the red sequinned gown and also the black velvet gown she wore to the Diplomatic Reception in 2019. I also love the emerald sequinned gown she wore on the Cambridges’ official visit to Pakistan. She looks marvellous in basically everything she wears but these are the best of the best. So far! It’s great to anticipate her future gowns!

Her Alexander McQueen wedding gown was so flawless too. When you have things tailored to perfection it works. Sometimes she airs on the too skinny side at times, but who would blame her with all the stress on her shoulders. She probably works out so much to deal with all the drama filled stupidity of some family members lol She is definitely a classy woman. William is lucky to have her as his wife. ❣
The green dress from the Earth Shot Prize in Boston. OMG, even though it was rented, it looked absolutely gorgeous on her. Even her hair, makeup and jewelry were top notch!! Seriously, one of my favorite looks on her. Such a great palette cleanser. Please make more videos of her outfits. Maybe one with her best casual outfits, or maybe with her best coats. You can also do one that highlights her jewelry, like top earrings or something like that.
I love how she wears them over and over. It is nice when you see her out wearing a dress or gown she has worn before.

I love the pic of her in the gorgeous gold dress with William in the back of the car (James Bond premiere), but two of my favorite non-evening gowns are her coral dress by Emilia Wickstead for the Buckingham Palace garden party last year and her pale yellow dress, also by Emilia Wickstead, for the Friday thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
For casual looks, there’s one I loved where she wore a white shirt with navy horizontal stripes, a navy fitted blazer, navy slim-fit jeans, and navy wedges to a SportsAid Athlete Workshop in 2013. IIRC, she even played volleyball!
She knows how to be classy and relatable at the same time. She’s like the girl you want to hate because she’s smart and beautiful and has everything but can’t help but love because she’s such a good person.

I'm not a fan of the florals though, they might look better in person but I think they look dated & cluttered. Great for anyone who needs to distract from flaws (real or imagined) but not necessary for Catherine. She carries off simple elegance flawlessly & clearly has great taste in designers. 🥰

Princess Catherine is so gorgeous and everything she wears looks beautiful. Perfect tailoring and she does have the body for these designs (even after 3 kids wow). And what I also noted all the people around Catherine are always smiling and you can see they also adore her and she is genuine.
